Review of UK Garage By The Sea
Songs to repetitive throughout full day, was so annoying, felt like we were just on r peat. Annoying Wiley didnât turn up. Think VIP dance area needed to be 1 to 2 meters more. Attended before and you had VVIP, think you could bring that back with a raised platform and seating area. Thought the security were great and I felt well looked after.

Shame about the changeover issues with the sets so long in between with no music at all sometimes either ! Drink are way overpriced but the food was amazing and priced right !

Event was amazing definitely going again only complaint is how over priced everything was, for 1 shot of vodka with a slush puppy it was 12 pounds which is so bad but the event was amazing every artist was amazing and the staff where amazing

Review of Hastings Reggae Festival 2024
It was a great line up. Good vibes, but the sound system wasn't loud enough and didn't have enough base. There were long breaks between the acts which killed the atmosphere a bit. Was nice to see the sea from the venue.

Review of Hastings Reggae Festival 2024
We have been to the festival many times and have always looked forward to going. We bought along a few friends and family this time and u fortunetly were extremely let down/embarrassed.
The gaps between performances were so long that any atmosphere created was lost, with NO continuity between acts.
The prices of drinks were ridiculuos. £10/beer and £30/bottle wine.
Toilet facilities were adequate, apart from at the end of the evening when they took all the toilet paper away and basically said "not our problem" when asked why?
Security were great, first aiders were great and the staff on the rides erc were great. Good food.
Im unsure as to wether there was a technical issue and, if so, they should have let the crowd know.
Alot more people thab previous years .

Review of Hastings Reggae Festival 2024
Great line up of artists in a good location. Music was awesome! Weather was kind and atmosphere was fab. Pre-event communication was excellent with tickets arriving by email in time (as advised). Electronic ticketing worked well. Plenty of toilets, thorough but not intrusive security checks on arrival but no venue parking (ample street parking to be fair). Let down by no compare / continuity announcer (major omission which left the audience wondering what was going on and failed to formally introduce and 'big up' each artist more so those that had travelled far, some from abroad - sad and unnecessary oversight which other events have learnt to arrange), poor time keeping (some bands were 40 minutes late), some technical and sound issues, ridiculous price of drinks for 330ml beer and soft drinks, compounded by limited range offered. Overall a positive experience and we would consider going again.

Review of Hastings Reggae Festival 2024
Music was intermittent. About an hour wait for each set and they only sang 3 songs each. More drum and bass and jazz than reggae. Overpriced for what is was. £6.25 a can of red label too which were part of a 4 pack!! We won't be returning next year!!
