Review of South East Soul, Reggae & Ska Festival
Great line ups, awesome day!!
Venue didn't really allow travel time to the tube station (event was on Sunday and 25 min walk from the station, so lots left before the headliner in order to get last tube at 11pm) which was a bit of a shame.
1x beer option vs 3x cider options also a bit disappointing. (Just Budweiser)

Jocelyn brown absolutely made the night she nearly made me cry when apologising for her vocals, her lung capacity at her age is amazing and she still didnt give herself credit absolute role model. Il return next year if her and azwad are there :)
The festival was amazing for adults and the line up was fantastic but £17 for a small bottle of wine is absolutely rediculous I believe ciders and can c**ktails could be sold for £5 and still gain a profit and the fact they sell childrens tickets they could atleast offer atleast four free rides and a arts and craft tent and glitter for half the price of adults.

Review of South East Soul, Reggae & Ska Festival
I bought vip tickets for our party of six, the facilities provided were not those advertised , no comfy seating except a few well used deck chairs , no posh loos, just to plastic ports loos, the same as all the others, no clear view of the stage, the quality of the music presenters ability in my view wasn't great, the live acts started too late and the overall vibe and delivery of the day wasn't at all what I had hoped for

I don't think a stage and a tent qualifies as a festival. There was a huge empty tent from the festival the day before that should have been utilised. Apparently was supposed to be kids area but nothing going on in there. I was told there would be music playing in there from 7pm but nothing. Just not enough music options for me. I hope they take feedback on board and come back better. Would like to see this grow as it has potential.

Review of South East Soul, Reggae & Ska Festival
All the performers were unhappy with the sound tech and it was dreadful quality despite them repeatedly asking him to sort it. No directions or instructions for car park so people who'd paid £10 to park gave up, parked roadside and walked to the venue. Toilets were stinking and a foul stink of sewerage could be smelt yards away and unfortunately near the food stalls. Water supply ran out and people were being charged £5 for a 250ml bottle of water. Never Again.

Review of South East Soul, Reggae & Ska Festival
After going to Soultasia a couple of years back I was so looking forward to this event. To be honest I was left well let down. The bass was too loud and the artists couldn't be heard. Aswad kept stopping and telling the organisers to sort it out. There was a lot on the flyer that was promised that just didn't deliver. It advertised a fun fair, there wasn't one. It advertised entertainment for children under the big top, there wasn't any. It was very dragged out between acts, and that time was filled by the dj and compare for the evening who were both excellent. Alison Limerick was on stage, and back off again after a few songs. Drinks were very overpriced. It was a complete let down compared to Soultasia.

I paid extra for VIP...the VIP area was cordoned off in a corner where you couldn't see the stage. There was meant to be seating but only 20 chairs when there was probably 200+ VIP tickets. There were two loo's but the security guard was letting in non-VIP's into the area which meant we had to queue, it was quicker to walk to the other toilets. Bar staff was very friendly.
The sound quality was quite poor even the performing artists kept asking for the mic's to be turned up.
