Review of Brew at the Bog 2016
Not as good as the past couple of years, little things that caused the 'mark downs'
1. No bus from Inverness to the festival although advertised on the website with tickets sold on Skiddle.
2. Where were advertised facilities and performances, showers/ comedy, cinema etc.
3. No brewdog beer? Reasonable choice in many types of booze but the change in brands would have been more acceptable if info was available.
4. Food, NO CHIPS? NO BURGERS? And only 2 of 4 food vans still had product after 6pm on Saturday.
5. NO HARDCOPY PROGRAMME WAS AVAILABLE......INFO FOR EACH STAGE WAS ON HAND WRITTEN POSTERS?
6. Sound was carrying between the stages which spoiled a number of performances..
NOW THE POSITIVES..
1. GOOD MUSIC, GOOD VARIETY OF STYLES ETC
2. TOILETS FACILITIES WERE CLEAN ETC
3. PEOPLE WERE GREAT
4. STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL
5. ENVIROMENT FELT SAFE
CONCLUSION, WELL WORTH THE EFFORT BUT NOT AS GOOD AS PREVIOUS YEARS.

Review of Brew at the Bog 2016
Small friendly festival in a good setting... Listening to the organisers hype though and you would expect much more...it is what it is, good mix of music, limited food options and good but pricey beer.

Review of Brew at the Bog 2016
I attended 2015 Brew so there were many positives to the changes they made for 2016, but also some negatives too. I've listed my top 5 of each:
What went well - Moving the date was by far the best decision - sun beats snow any day of the week. Moving the main stage - it seemed like less of a chore to see the great bands playing there. Opening out the former VIP bar to everyone - who doesn't like one more bar?? Open air movie - this was a weather dependant gamble but worked well and helped to chill people out who possible weren't ready for bed. The LaFontaines - they absolutely smashed it!
What didn't go so well - Reducing the size of the Northern Roots Stage - there wasn't enough room for all the jumping and dancing and became quite dangerous at times. Not enough food choices - there's only so many burrito's and pizza's you can eat in one weekend. Skiddle Rep - I signed up and was promised drinks tokens if I signed my friends up (which I did) but no one every contacted me to get my commission - very dissappointed. Where was the comedy bus?? - There were posts about it on facebook and even they seem to have disappeared. Little/No information - I didn't know who was playing where and when and no programme/map was available to buy on the day. And when I tried to find a member of staff to ask - no one seemed to know what was going on. A better information point next time please.
All in all, a great event that I would definitely recommend. Just a few tweeks needed - definitely around the Information available on the day.

Review of Brew at the Bog 2016
Absolutely brilliant. had a fantastic time, well run festival and v friendly atmosphere. Have been to Brew at the Bog before and will definitely be back. Much better with the 2 nights now instead of 1 day. Brilliant acts, particularly LaFontaines. Well done to Yvonne Murray the organiser, fantastic job Yvonne!

Review of Brew at the Bog 2016
Great wee festival. Disappointed to herar a couple of tents close to us had money stolen from them whilst they slept. Wondering if there was any security around the campsite. I wish folk would pick up their rubbish before they leave. There is no excuse. They were given a bin bag. But no different from any other festival. There's always some that don't see it as their responsibiliy.
