Review of Brew at the Bog 2016
Best one yet. The festival moved itself up a month from May to June, and it was rewarded with warmer weather and a sun shining day on the Saturday.
So many great bands played at the weekend over the 2 days and it's one of the friendliest and fun festivals you will find in Scoland.
Great music, great drink, great people equal great times.

Review of Brew at the Bog 2016
This was our fourth Brew at the Bog. We loved it! Fantastic music and a fantastic atmosphere. Everyone was really friendly and it was a really enjoyable festival. Something for everyone. The only negatives we had were that there really aren't many areas for people to sit so a bit more seating, picnic benches would be great. We also missed The Codfather this year! No chips, which was exactly what we were looking for later on each night! Other than that ..... brilliant! We are so lucky to have such a top notch festival right on our doorstep :) 10 out of 10

Review of NIP Scotland 2016
Excellent event and hope to come back next year. My only criticism is that there wasn't enough food for everyone. We got a portion of stovies but I know from other people that they ran out early. At an event with so much drinking going on over along period it would have better to have something else as well, say baked tatties or something similar. The £5 a portion being charged was a bit steep though.
Review of NIP Scotland 2016
Unfortunately the nip festival was not what was advertised!! live music was advertised this consisted of 2 guys playing an accordion and a guitar- in the bar area, food was advertised this was stovies which were lovely but cost £5 and had run out within half an hour. 6 of the representatives for the gins did not turn up and it was thanks to 2 ladies that they hastily set up a small table with some of these gins to try!
This was not worth £40 we would of only had 4 gins to try and was so disappointed that we were all shoved in a marquee. The people that were there were very friendly and was interesting to learn about some new gins but I think this event was mis sold- it's definitely not a festival with live music and food!

Review of NIP Scotland 2016
With little idea of what to expect I was slightly disappointed with the Nip Festival. The website had very limited info in the lead up and the "bus booking" link just sent u in circles. The venue was nice enough but quite small and the wasn't really much of a festival atmosphere. Stovies ran out too quickly and for £40 I think there should've been more on offer than circling tables for an hour or so. Being expected to cough up another £17 for the "masterclass" was a bit rich too. Overall the day was what you made it and disappointing considering the potential.

Review of NIP Scotland 2016
Great location for the festival, but for £44 I was expecting more, either more whisky exhibitioners, more entertainment or more food available. Food ran out very early and certainly not enough to cater for everyone. The exhibitions that were there were chatty and welcoming, especially Glenmorangie and Gordon & Macphail. Compared to other whisky festivals I have attended there just didnt seem to be the variety, especially for the price. Hopefully next year some of these issues will be ironed out and I would look forward to attending again. Good atmosphere and a good time had.

Review of Brew at the Bog
Lacked the quaintness and atmosphere of previous years, Main Stage was too far from the festival hub and festival would benefit from a date in June/ July to avoid the cold conditions of this and some previous years as the site is very exposed. More bar drinks choice especially the Brewdog Truck and less queuing were positives though. Would consider returning but might leave it until the last minute to book depending on weather conditions.

Review of Brew at the Bog
Good event that raised awareness of the new and upcoming local bands, but for those that paid for their tickets for the whole weekend I would feel that the event is overpriced with drinks tokens at an extortionate price and not a great variety of food/ other stalls.

Review of Brew at the Bog
A fantastic little festival, very well organised and a great atmosphere. The time of year however is a hit or a miss with the weather and unfortunately this year was very cold. It would be good if the festival was moved to June for a better chance of better weather.

Review of Brew at the Bog
It was our first time here but it certainly won't be our last! It was a fantastic atmosphere with some really great people and great music alike! It was just a pity that the weather wasn't on our side and we maybe didn't spend as much time down at the main stage as we would've liked. We'l be back though and just have to pack more layers ;))
