Review of 90s rewind featuring Alison limerick Livin joy and Baby D
The girls performing were great, the DJ however... 90's dance music should never be mega mixed, he totally ruined the vibe, felt like a wedding or school disco and when it's £30 a ticket, you expect someone with good mixing skills and music knowledge. Far too many missed opportunities for playing the right songs at the right time, disappointing.

Absolutely shocking for the prices we paid. The DJ couldn't stick to a song without constantly changing it, then there was about 10 people there when we arrived, the live acts were very average (the first act took on the brunt as there was a technical issue so she was brilliant despite the circumstances). It really wasn't the night I expected and will be messaging at the very minimum for a partial refund!

Review of TPau 2023
T’Pau were amazing. The venue was very strange with tables in the main area to which your tickets were allocated. Tables at the front were set up nicely, those at the back (literally behind the bar) had no table cloths or anything, felt like an after thought. We moved upstairs to the self allocated balcony seating and had a great time. I would 100% not go that venue again - although I must add all of the staff were fantastic.

Review of An Evening with Shaun Ryder
Thought Shaun was entertaining and interesting. Bit more from the interviewer about music stories, hacienda, Tony Wilson etc would have enhanced rather than some of the questions from the audience.

Review of The Magic of Motown live show
The wife and I were very disappointed with the music it was as though they was talking through the songs and not singing them there was no power in their voices whatsoever and their choice of songs I never heard of half of them would definitely not recommend this show to anyone

Review of The Magic of Motown live show
We also attended the Queen tribute before Christmas. Of the two, I enjoyed last night's more (perhaps because the genre really appealed to me) . I would, however, like to report back on two things which could've made our experience all the more enjoyable. In order of importance - the four bright LED tower lights at the back of the stage really detracted from the enjoyment of your act. They put their hearts and souls into entertaining the audience but this was mostly wasted as we were blinded by these towers. I don't know if the audience downstairs felt the same but that was certainly the feeling in our party - it's a bit counter productive to shield our eyes after paying to see a potentially brilliant performance. Secondly, we were unable to hear the singing in the first two songs as the band were drowning them out. My husband went to speak to someone and, luckily, found a Sound Engineer who hadn't been told it was 'dual layer' seating and that there might also be people upstairs. As the evening progressed, this imbalance seemed to be rectified.
