Review of The Magic of Motown live show
The music/ singing for at least the first 30 minutes was very muffled and it was not possible to hear the words from the songs clearly. But it did then improve and was much better especially in the second half of the show.
The show was 15 minutes late starting and then an interval of almost 45 minutes was very excessive for some unknown reason , this resulted in people having to leave early to get transport home

Stage lighting behind performers was so bright it dazzled the audience and made it almost impossible to see the performers except in poor shadow form.
The backing base drowned out the treble and therefore the performers voices on virtually every song.
On the rare occasions when the dance routines and the singers could be seen and heard, they were very professional and well rehea**ed. unfortunately they were let down badly by poor stage management.
Great deal of confusion and public annoyance that while the skiddle info' stated a 6 .00pm start, this was not the case and the show did not start until 7.45pm.

Review of The Magic of Motown live show
There were problems with the sound for the first 30 minutes the band drowned the vocals. This improved and became more enjoyable. The interval was painfully long. The seating layout was very cramped and uncomfortable. The love of the music and the talent of the artists made these problems secondary but could have been better.

Review of Champions of Rock the Ultimate Queen Tribute
Great venue, good atmosphere. However the band changed / overdid the ending of most songs. It's a big ask pretending to be Freddie Mercury but the lead singer wasn't up to the task - he was on an ego-trip and irritated throughout. The hour long interval was ridiculous. The audience were great though they seemed to prefer the disco - the DY played some excellent music.
