Review of Chow Down
Great venue, cool atmosphere, good music. Having been to pergola in London several times, I think prices were actually a lot better down south which is very surprising. Firstly, tickets are incredibly overpriced for what you get, and the free drink is a very watered down aperol. The food and drinks inside is so overpriced too, I enjoyed my halloumi starter, but the pasta I was given was genuinely shocking, literally like school food and watery. So not impressed by Sarto- couldn’t complain as wasn’t sure how it would work with the ordering system. My boyfriend’s Vietnamese food was also bland and unflavousome- not what you expect from a cool food truck/festival vibe! If it was cheaper tickets or free entry I would definitely go again as was quite a cool venue, but just far too overpriced for what it’s worth.

Review of Chow Down
Booked ten tickets for my fortieth birthday, 7.30-10.30. We didn't get admitted until 7.45, and with no apology from any of the staff. We were seated, ordered food and drinks, and then waited for the party atmosphere to kick in. It didn't. The venue was half empty, there was no entertainment. The only saving grace was the food provided by the independant traders was nice. After an hour, we all decided to head off somewhere else. Having paid for tickets I feel cheated. Myself and my guests all agreed we wouldn't recommend Chow Down to anyone.

Review of Chow Down
Drinks took way way way too long, made it almost not worth it, we wanted a covered table but we got put in a back corner basically in the dark in a booth, we wanted a table with a roof over it, not a box.

Review of Chow Down
I’ve been to Chow Down a few times, but this was the first time I’d bought an evening ticket (7pm-10pm). The QR code system didn’t work and was really frustrating. Hardly any food vendors were online, the options that were available were very limited, and when the food arrived it was cold - Not the service I’d usually expect. The venue was empty by 9pm so overall not the same value that you’d get from a daytime ticket and I wouldn’t go back in the evening again.

Have to say I wanted to leave a review but no place on your page.
This is the second time visiting you yesterday. And not a great experience. 20 minutes late getting in for our booking due to the queues. Food selection - only two vendors who had enough food and items kept disappearing off the menu. Prawns ordered took over an hour to arrive and only after I asked where they were. Drinks also took far too long to be delivered. 45 minute wait for a beer!!!!
Won’t be visiting again. Pity as our first experience was really good.
