Review of Leicester Food Festival
I was expecting there to be food stalls with tasters so that you could buy produce and take home. Once you bought a meal that was it. I think you need to make it more clear what you mean by food festival. Music too loud in eating area, difficult to talk to friends.

Poor signage & advertising 2 separate Uber drivers couldn't locate the entrance.V hot day no shaded area/ shelter Water sold £2 small bottle..Supermarkets sell 12 same size bottles for £2!Food wasn't local..Greek supplier from London so charged £12/ wrap! Not necessary get in local traders £16 for music ..what else was included? Ed Sheeran tribute should've checked his sound system. Female singer before him and local band were v good

Too expensive for what was available- you can only eat so much from one outlet so what do you do for the rest of the day - wanted more food "tasting" stalls to buy merchandise from/ not to just eat - rip off ?'?

Review of Leicester Food Festival
Family and I had a fabulous day... kids loved the rides, music and football/basketball activities. Adults loved the music and food... lots of choice!! Great atmosphere for families and couples, would definitely go next year if it's on.
The food was pricey, especially when you need to feed the whole family. It would be good if we could bring snacks/water in for kids just to keep them going as the queues were quite long. Doesn't mean we wouldn't buy food for our kids... it would just make it more manageable/affordable for families.
Great event, though!!!

Review of Leicester Food Festival
The price for the early bird made it financially viable and the prices inside the venue were reasonable and did not seem like a rip off. More details of what was going on inside the venue, ie maybe a subscription option so emails can be sent to individuals who had paid up would have been useful. Sorry I didn't spend too much time on websites. There was a good vibe, felt safe with the security and police presence. Obviously the weather made the day and hopefully you will organise another food festival for 2025.

Review of Leicester Food Festival
It was a big ok as to find the entrance was quite difficult, the prices were crazy and the food diversity was quite poor as many stands had very similar food and also it was not wow either. If the entrance prices would've been much cheaper it would've been worth but like this it was disappointing

Overall it was a good day.
I got the early bird ticket, which i was happy to pay for but if i had paid the full price i think it's over priced for what was on offer.
It was a very hot day - as this was a family event, with lots of young babies it would have been good to have some more shaded area where people could sit, everyone seemed to be crammed in the only corner of shaded area in the park.
