Review of Leicester Food Festival
It was hard to find the entrance as there were very view signs. Didnt start letting people in till past 11.20.
No signage on the inside, walked all the way to the funfair to be told they didn't open till 12.
Apart from the funfair, circus party games, i didnt think there was much more for kids.
The food was quite expensive as it was mostly full meals. I expected their to be smaller "taster" portions you could pay for so that you could try more vendors.
There was no shelter, which was frustrating when it started raining.

Review of Leicester Food Festival
The Food Festival was OK. The atmosphere was nice having the artists singing, giving background music as you went round.
I get the price of the tickets included the entertainment, but for those who just wanted the food festival, it was quite steep. The early bird tickets were good value. I'd have been gutted at paying full price, especially as I wasn't there to fully enjoy the entertainment.
The food suppliers, in my opinion, missed a trick. Everyone walking away with huge portions of food. I would have thought maybe mini portions for a fair price would mean that more people could try more places for food?
There were many vendors I liked the look of, but I didn't need full portions from each!
Overall a good event, I can see as a first one there are a few improvements that could be made ahead of repeat events.

Everything was well organised! However the prices of most of the vendors were quite high. Also the entrance fee was high. The entrance fee could have included a soft drink or something in the price, as 9 pounds per adult for just the entry was too much.

Great multi cultural event especially since recent events, the music was great, lovely entertainment for children though I feel there may could have been a few more things for little kids to do, we attended on the Saturday by 5pm some venders had sold out on stock great to see we lost out on trying different cuisines, what we did try was lovely though in my opinion slightly over priced however overall we were a group of 12+ with minors and we all had a fab time. Thank you can't wait for next year
The music was just great great

Food & drink prices were ridiculous, £3.00 for a can of c**e, £23 for 5 ice creams. How do you expect families to afford this?! Also needs to be more shelter/marquees for when it is too hot or raining
