My first time seeing this genuinely talented artist fronting a band. I’ve seen John Witherspoon performing solo and he is a consummate entertainer. As a result I gad high expectations for this gig. They were well and truly exceeded! My first time visiting this venue so had no expectation. The sound was excellent not overly loud in the small space. No feedback or balance issues. If there was a bootleg made at the mixing desk I reckon it would reinforce the memory of all attending and provide a reality check of a gig that in time may enter the realms of urban myth…Well done all involved and thankyou!
