Review of Liverpool Celebrates
Liverpool celebrated in style! A memorable gig and then some. Perfect in every way especially to enjoy our home-grown star-studded talent under a dazzling blue sky down at the Pier Head. Well doe to the organisers and everyone involved...loved the visuals too.

A family day with nothing specific for families. Location not set up for the families looking to spend the day there. Very little area to sit and enjoy the music with the family. Very dissatisfied. Sefton park Africa oye festival was significantly better suited to families and free.

Great backdrop Albert Dock, sun shining on a warm day. Great mix of quirky Liverpool bands and characters, great interaction with the crowd! Great value for money and fantastic end to the day, Holly Johnson and fabulous visuals! The music has stood the test of time, really enjoyed the day!

The price of the drinkss and food were twice the price to the pub venues in Liverpool. And pubs were having live events which cost nothing compared to the old Matthew Street which had about 5-6 stages which were all free. Will go to the live music free events in the pub venues next time.

The organisation of this event was excellent staff friendly and professional. No long queues for food and drink although a bit pricey. There were plenty of toilets (which were clean) so didn't have to wait long and miss the acts. Had a fantastic day/night.

I hope this event returns in 2025.
I have paid the same entry fee, at local clubs, for one 90 minute performance. This was 8 hours of great entertainment, in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere!
