Review of Liverpool Celebrates
Great night only the weather spiking it at the very end. You get this with open air concerts it's to be Zoe ted however because the Ron was so heavy and it was blowing (venue is next to the river) it made it difficult to see the end out.

Love attending events on the waterfront in Liverpool. Perfect venue when the sun is out shining. Layout was ok, but the entrance wasn't signed well, and ended up walking around to find it. Acts were fantastic though, and a nice chill atmosphere.

Review of Liverpool Celebrates
We really enjoyed our time at Liverpool Celebrates. However, we bought our tickets when they first went on sale and is was advertised as Matthew Street Festival - we did not get any inclination during the 2 days we attended (Fri/Sat) that it was any way related to the Matthew Street Festival.
We enjoyed the music and the atmosphere. The bar prices were reasonable for this type of event and the food prices were not so bad either. However the choice was a little limited across food and drink if staying for more than 1 day. I think it would have been really repetitive for all 4 days.
Stall holders and a 'market' was advertised, but there was not one there. Was simply a stage and food and drink sellers. The no re-admittance policy I understood, but this also restricted choice.
The main frustration for us was ticket prices - we bought ours as soon as they went on sale at an "early bird" price of £36+ per ticket per day before any acts were confirmed or shared. During the week's run up to the festival, 4 day tickets were being sold for £40! Over half the price of the total that we had paid for just 2 days. This was extremely disappointing as tickets were non-refundable, so we were stuck with our original cost of almost £80pp for 2 days. This will obviously put people off buying until the last minute, which surely won't help the festival in planning if they are to hold it again. I certainly wouldn't buy my tickets in advance again.
We had an enjoyable time and loved the performances, but the ticket thing did tarnish the weekend a little.

Review of Liverpool Celebrates
There was nowhere to sit and it was very cold even though the sun was out.
When it was around the pubs and streets we always had a brilliant time and went year after year.
We went on the Friday and travelled from north wales, so we took chairs but were unable to take them in and we were unable to take a large bag with a blanket to sit on or to put extra layers of clothing in.
The music was good but maybe I should have read the small print before booking, will not be going again.
