Review of Newsham Scream Park 2024
Great venue, great idea. Poor execution. Not very scary-more entertaining. Minimal effort put into dressing up the various rooms (apart from 'under the bed'). I have been to Hallowscream in York which was really scary and a lot more professionally set up with attention to detail on all of the rooms, props and actors, sadly this was not really the case in Liverpool. Such a shame as the venue is amazing and has so much potential to being a terrifying experience. Unfortunately I would not go again.

Had a great experience , great atmosphere . I feel there does need to be clearer warnings at what to expect in each maze . I Wasn't too keen having a non breathable bag/sack over my head , I struggled to breathe at 1 point . But overall was good

After doing the one at camelot and farmaggedon. This is not value for money. It is a small area with no atmosphere or enjoyment with less space. The mazes were very small and over way to quick. The make up and dress up where very minimum. The staff and actor were welcoming and active. The fact you have to end one of the maze on a fire exit metal staircase from the fourth floor in wet weather is extreme dangerous and unsettling. Will not recommend or return

Just a bunch of bed sheets thrown over furniture in dark rooms with drama students jumping out and shouting "boo". Cheap.
Terrible karaoke live music in the middle that you're forced to listen to as you wait in the long queues to for each "maze".
Left after the first maze.
You'll have a spookier time visiting the Asda in St Helen's after 9pm.

It was good in 2023, but they clearly decided they didn’t need to make an effort with the mazes in 2024 and still make lots of money. Walking through a darkened room with the odd person in a rubber mask shouting ‘grrrr’ at you as you pass isn’t really scary.

Overpriced, toilets were terrible as they had no toilet paper, no hand sanitiser and smelt at the beginning of the event. Felt we were rushed through. Thought the hooding was unhygienic. The details on the event said you were not allowed to wear puffer jackets, hoods etc, we adhered to that and when we got there everyone was in that type of clothing. Expected at an event like that, there would be lockers. Would not recommend,
