Review of Newsham Scream Park 2024
Shocking! So much better last year. Toilets were HANGING. Couldn't even use them. Too many people smashed out of their faces. Alcohol abuse is a real thing and people have triggers. It's already heightening enough going into a scare attraction but I didn't enjoy myself at all as I was protecting my younger sister from so many drunk nob heads. Getting paired with other people who couldn't even stand up properly and were slurring words didn't sit well with me when I'm trying to navigate around a pitch black attraction with strobe lights. Had a panic attack and left after second maze. Not due to how scary it was, due to how many people were legless. So gross, you're at a scare attraction not a festival. Actors half a**ed.
Atmosphere in terms of music, places to take pictures, food venues were really good! It was just ruined by everything else and that wasn't the reason I was there anyway. That's just a good extra included in an (extortionate) tick*t price.
Newsham scream park you MUST do better! For the safety and wellbeing of people who have paid good money to come to your scare attraction. Drink limits need to be enforced. There's really no need for it all. Plenty of other places to go and get smashed.
Will never return here again!!

Review of Newsham Scream Park 2024
I've been to a few different scare attractions but Newsham was definitely the one that got me! I took my 14 year old daughter and two of her mates and we all loved it, although we did come out a little bit traumatised too 😂 Well worth the price unlike many other attractions. Live music was brilliant, actors were fun and interactive, mazes were spot on! Food/drinks are a little bit pricey but other than that we literally had the best time, screaming & laughing throughout.

Could have been way scarier, mazes were tiny and we were in and out in seconds! Music? Made no sense! 2 scare characters walking around the bar and food area, they didn't seem to interested and just moped about taking the odd selfie. Atmosphere was okay. Oh, I was so looking forward to Priesthood ... what an absolute let down. Hood on your head, follow a rope, few unintelligible words whispered in my ear and done! Nah, I'll stick to Farmagedom in future.

It's overpriced for what you actually do and the food and drink is also too expensive. The mazes are really short only about 5~7 minutes. It's definitely not as good as we expected. Not really scary and the history of the venue could have been utilised in a much scarier way.

Brilliant event! Excellent set up, staff were great, attractions were scary but fab and actors did a top job. Food & drink queues were quick and managed well, little bit on the expensive side but to be expected and no different than any other event similar to this and you are in a night out so who cares about the prices! Live music was ok, great singers but songs were very monotonous and not very upbeat or themed (given the type of event perhaps som**hing along the lines of Thriller or monster mash would work). Toilets also didn't have toilet paper or hand wash facilities, yes it is an outdoor event but there should be som**hing available. Thankfully I had tissues and wet wipes! The attractions were so good, staff outside built the atmosphere ready for when the doors opened and the actors took over which made it all the more frightening. Newsham Scream Park is a brilliant event and I would recommend to anyone, can't wait for next year!

It wasnt scary at all, too quick to go through venues. The one with bags on Head... Don't even know for what as its wasnt scary at all, just walked with bag on Head, feeling hot just to hold the rope and that's it. Missing some more things from Under the bed venue Like people jumping out of wardrobe or Below bed. Too many people can go at once so you don't even feel scared. It Takes maybe 3/4 minutes to check one venue. No interactions, no games. Just walk through. If I have to choose one which was quite okay that would be Humanimal. The Rest not worth to go for that price.
