Review of Jacaranda All Stars: FLIZZ, Fiona Lennon...
This was my second visit in a fortnight to Jacaranda... I was mainly there to watch Lily Almond and her band... Who were on the night.. simply sensational.
They played a wide range of styles and genres... Starting with the awesome "PARADISE"... A chilling lament about the darkness around fading love.... And finished five songs later with a powerful rendition of WHAT YOU GET... A raw and gritty Rocker.....
As per usual the vocals were amazing... And the harmonies from the band we're right on point.
There was still some space in the audience area at this early stage of the proceedings... However as more people arrived it became extremely tight ... But if you like this style of "Cavern- Like" downstairs space... Then the Jacaranda is the place for you....
A thoroughly enjoyable night.. good prices at the bar and friendly staff....
Lily , Ross, Leon and Gilly, are on a seriously upward curve right now... Check them out on Spotify (5/07/24 )and try and hold on to their coat tails.... It promises to be a hell of a ride !

Review of Leah Nicole - Iona Summer- Moni Jean
Well put together gig, the band transitions were smooth. The music was fantastic by all the performers but Leah Nicole and her band for me were the stand out performers on the night. Loved it all!
