Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
I would recommend the festival & had a great time. However the queue for the Prince of Wales to get wristbands at 6 pm was ridiculous. People were also queuing for Dimitri. We had wanted to see him but were told the pub was full & it was a 2 & a half hour wait. We got our wristband at the Electric. I understand people missed the Q & E also due to this queue. One of our friends left as he only wanted to go in the POW. We stayed in the Electric till 9 but this was not what we had hoped to do and was not quite our music. Faith were brilliant and the venue was too. But I feel it should be differently organised for these big names. Perhaps play in a bigger venue.

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
I love the disco festival but I seriously think there should be separate tickets for the POW as the line is up to 2 hours long to get in (1 out in 1 person in) which is ridiculous because you’ll miss everyone you want to see playing just waiting to get in! Also the Electric needs more women’s toilets - lines are gigantic! Other than that it’s a lot of fun and you can dance the night away to fantastic music

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
Queues, queues and more queues. Very expensive bar prices. Music was hit & miss, several performances went outside of the disco, funk and house genre, definitely not a disco festival as advertised.

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
I wouldn’t buy a ticket to this again, they must decide ticket sales on the capacities of the venues on offer, however one of those venues is the ritzy cinema and no one wants to go watch a film during a disco festival, therefore the prince of wales gets full to capacity and the queue is over an hour long to get in. Unless you’re there early you won’t get to see the acts you want. And you can’t easily move between venues because of the queuing issues. The atmostphere’s always good in Brixton though and if you do get to see who you want then there’s decent music.

2nd year of attendance. Well organized and great start to the day at the Ritzy Picturehouse in Brixton to see "Getting It Back: the story of Cymande" . Nice to go on to dance at the pop at at Black Cultural Archives. Thereafter, friendly, respectful and also engaging fellow dancers at all venues attended. Nice have been there!

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
The set up for getting wristbands and entry to venue with what I would call main acts was terrible. We spent £45 each to luckily have a great time at the FREE events. Will go again but not purchasing a ticket unless I see on the day that venue entry is better.
