Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
Superb event but queue for POW was crazy and having opted to see Dimitris Q and A session missed out on seeing him DJ which was our main reason for going. That said had a fantastic time and other venues were brilliant.

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
. It was a truly unforgettable event, filled with good vibes and happiness that left me with aching legs for dancing and aching face for smiling to much.
The disco vibe was in the air from the moment we arrived at Brixton Starion, with people dancing and grooving to the funky beats of the music. Although crowded ant times energy was electric, and it was impossible not to feel swept up in the rhythm of the glorious sunshiney day and night.
There was a bit of queuing at POW, despite that what I loved most about the festival was the positive energy that permeated throughout the entire event. People from all walks of life came together to celebrate and enjoy the music, and there was a sense of unity and togetherness that was truly beautiful to witness.
In the words of the great Bob Marley, "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain." And that was certainly the case at the BDF. The happiness and joy that filled the air was contagious, and it was impossible not to feel uplifted by the experience.
It left me feeling inspired and full of love for my fellow human beings.

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
Sadly, the event was poorly organised. You had to queue to collect your wristbands and then still queue again if you left the Prince of Wales. This was very frustrating. There should have been two separate queues.
I will not be attending next year!

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
Really fun atmosphere and crowd with great DJs.
The only downside was the queue to get into Prince of Wales, that venue didn’t feel quite big enough for the crowd. Would definitely go again though!

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
This event is terribly managed from start to finish. Arrive early to get a wrist band then have to queue for nearly 2 hours for every venue, they need to be more clear that you can’t re enter without queuing again. Bar constantly 8 people deep with only 2 bars staff! Another classic example of a money grabbing company not taking into account how a night should run safely. If there was fire there’s no way anyone would have survived. I’ll be contacting them for a full refund and explanation of why the even was run so poorly.

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
A huge disappointment. As the name suggested I was expecting a night full of disco music. This was not a disco festival but a night of dull generic house music. There was a sprinkling disco and soul music but sadly often ruined by a thudding house beat or gimmicky remix. Some queues were ridiculously long so didn’t get in to see DJ’s I wanted to see. Perhaps they played some disco? I will never know.

Had to que for 2 hours to get wrist bands and then we had to get them from a different venue. We couldnât get in to see Dimitri - the main reason we bought tickets!
Definitely will not be buying tickets again, I would rather go to Brixton when it is not the festival.
