Review of Manchester Scare Factory 2024
Manchester Scary Factory was, unfortunately, a disappointing experience. Some of the performers were unprofessional, touching and grabbing us in uncomfortable ways, despite being told beforehand that there would be no physical contact. Having attended similar experiences around the world, this ranks as one of the worst.

Review of Manchester Scare Factory 2024
While the actors did a great job of engaging you, there was little else to keep you entertained. The tick*t staff didn't seem to have any idea what was going on, and there was very little direction from anyone. The mazes were mostly made up of walking through fenced areas with sheets and I didn't jump once. It was overpriced for what it was, and paled into comparison from other scare events I've been to. Also heads up about the portaloos: make sure you bring your phone to light up the cubicle as it's pitch black.

Review of Manchester Scare Factory 2024
For the price we paid I would have expected a bit more of an atmosphere. Whilst waiting to enter reach room there's nothing going on, such as live actors scaring people like at some of the other scare events. The fact there's only 2 rooms which are over pretty quickly as well, for the price I'd hoped there was more! When we'd finished the rooms there was nothing to do apart from sit in a cold warehouse. Little did we know, and nobody informed us, there was another section that had live music, food and bars.
On a positive, the actors and actresses did a fab job and played the parts well.
