Review of The Show - New Years Eve
Astroworld levels of busy during a pandemic and the loos were at the back of the room meaning you had to risk having a panic attack in a squished crowd to use the facilities. Drinks were criminal prices at £9 for a small single shot drink in a plastic cup. Music was awful and didn't know any songs although that might be a misunderstanding of what "hip hop" refers to, we assumed 90s/00s style rnb. A totally unexpected clientele of 18 year olds, love island esque types, and roadmen. Maybe I'm just too old for these venues now but Albert Schloss and other surrounding venues are fantastic. The marketing makes it seem luxury and great entertainment but do not be fooled. The only entertainment is women delivering bottles with sparklers and then a random guy in a stupid outfit looking around the room on stage. Genuinely 1/10 experience I've never left a club so quick and paid £22 for the privilege.
