Review of PorkPie Live plus Pretty Green (The Jam)
If you're a Ska fan you've got to get out and watch PorkPie. They take you on a Ska journey through the golden years of the best genre of music ever. It's music that you can't help but dance to. The venue was packed and everyone in the room was dancing from the first number to the last. 90 minutes of non stop dancing to Ska classics. Fantastic band to watch.

Review of PorkPie Live plus Pretty Green (The Jam)
Band were excellent but quite how they managed to do their performance with the heat in the venue I don't know. I attend gigs at all the academy's on a regular basis and I have never experienced heat like last night, absolutely no air conditioning whatsoever it was that bad that people were walking out which is bad when they have paid for tickets plus disheartening for the band.
I would definitely watch porkpie again just not at this venue.

Review of RUFF TRADE with support from DJ Lighta & Madame Claude
The only problem with Academy 3 is the stairs (two flights of spiral staircase) to get up there. There should be warning for those who have difficulty on stairs. The rest of the night was brilliant. Ruff Trade were incredible as always and we were pleasantly surprised at how good Madame Claude were - definitely go to see them again

Absolutely brilliant! Seemed a little disorganised at the doors letting people in, but fabulous once we were inside and Ruff Trade are just the best ❤️
