the event was brilliant nice size venue loved the music the bar staff were quick and not much waiting time . There was enough space to have a dance too . All in all a good night and a happy girl .

I have been following Ruff Trade for a couple of months now. Absolutely an amazing Reggae band. First time I’ve seen Johnny harper and Alex Spenser. Both really good. I think young Alex is one to keep an eye on. Looking forward to watching Ruff Trade again soon.

A great night with a diversity of music and people. It went too quickly but time flies when you are having fun

They're not quite good enough for music venues, they'd be good at a decent pub venue or busking but can't see then making it big.
They sound alright but not great, come on late and don't have enough material for the set so they fluff it out introducing the band members 5 times and playing Covers of random indie songs would have thought reggae covers would make more sense.
Seen them twice now this time was better but still very armature compared to many other bands seen at academy 3.

Great night’s entertainment. Lily got the crowd warmed up with some great Ska classics so the atmosphere was already revved up by the time Pork Pie hit the stage. Their set was a belter ! They had the place bouncing with a catalogue of great Ska, from Madness, Specials and a host of others. Everyone in the place was dancing their socks off. A band with a real brass section is always going to be a massive plus for any Ska band, they smashed their set.
