I was very disappointed with this venue as there were 3 artist who cancelled they were only a dj who I thought was only doing rapping jumping around me and my friends want to find out how we get a refund £38 each and there were 4 of us so disappointed we went of came back to see the same dj rapping again how do I contact the organisers for this venue 😥

More food stalls to reduce queue and more out door seating. The PA system was very poor especially towards the end of the event. There was also confusion about events taking place in Academy 2. This was possibly not the best venue, but can understand why it was used to keep costs down.
I would attend again to see such a historical rosta of artists.

Review of Manchester Reggae Festival
Totally disappointed with the whole experience. I bought tickets for 2 friends who live in Spain & my friend from Ireland. Firstly only one room was open, and artist that was advertised did not appear and the artists that did play were more like rap artists than reggae. Cheap drinks sold at extortionate prices. The whole experience was embarrassing for me and a wasted and expensive journey for myself and my friends (travel costs) I will never recommend this venue again .

The 2 main Artists were cancelled.
No consideration given for people with health issues in that there was only one vendor serving meals. Queues were 30/45 minutes long. Vendors were rude telling my mother she should manage her own diabetes despite that there was no food allowed. Oh his really ruined the event. Fish takeaway £15 😳
The Artists that did show were very good creating a great ambience.

Unfortunately the two main acts cancelled but still being shown as playing when tickets being sold.
Would not have bought for remaining line up.
Also, this impacted the intervals between bands… we didn’t like the interval music.

Disappointed I wasn’t advised beforehand that some artists wouldn’t be appearing so there would only be music on one stage instead of three. Customers should have been notified of this. Ladies toilets were disgusting.

Absolute sham from start to finish
Overpriced to begin with. Then main acts not turning up and the main headliners cut off after 4 songs. The organisation was complete rubbish
They also tried to force everyone in ridiculously early until I contacted the venue manager and then they changed the policy
Not enough food stalls available for the amount of people either
I personally think they should be offering refunds. It was a joke.

Venue well organised well staffed, only down side I would say would be the toilets should be manned as very very busy and got real messy in the ladies... the floors needed to be mopped many times to stop people slipping, but overall an enjoyable event.
