Review of Manchester Reggae Festival
2 of the artists advertised weren't there, 3 arenas advertised but only 1 was used, disabled access and facilities were appalling, security was terrible. Venue equally not great, very poor choice of soft drinks full of artificial sweeteners when I and many others are allergic, yet i wasn't allowed to bring my own soft drinks.
Nobody checking the disabled area for those who weren't disabled, causing a fire hazard. Despite myself and others complaining it remained the same. Disabled toilet flooded and no toilet paper due to non disabled bring allowed to use it and forcing disabled to struggle even further. I would never attend this event again. Didn't get what we paid for at all.

Review of Manchester Reggae Festival
Absolutely abysmal, less than half the artists turned up. 2 stages cancelled, warm beer, it was justnot what we paid for. Inc hotel and travel for 5 of us it cost us over £1000 for the day/night and the 3 bands we wanted to see didn't even turn up. Really disappointed. Also had my bar of chocolate confiscated (I'm diabetic) by security. I told them I was diabetic and they still took it off me. This could have been a life or death decision. Luckily for me my friend had 2 sugar packets in her bag or I would have ended up in serious trouble.

Didn’t like the venue. Prefer Bowlers and also would like VIIP option. Also we didn’t have performance times so missed two acts and the times the other acts were all over the place. Need better organising.

Review of Manchester Reggae Festival
The Reggae night was a fantastic experience, great atmosphere and location. The only negative would be the food and drinks were expensive, but this is what to expect at an event.

Review of Manchester Reggae Festival
We arrived at 4pm and left at 19.35pm, I did not enjoy this event at all and the only thing reggae about the event was the band playing in the background because the acts were just screaming the words

Artist cancellations, only one room of music, can not be considered a festival. Enjoyed food which took an hour + to get served. Also chaka Demus were very good, almost moving the overal experience beyond OK.
