Review of Salford Pride Presents: The Pink Picnic 2024
'picnic' but can't take in single use plastic which is what most things are wrapped in. If you don't question the staff, you don't get to take it in. You then go into the venue and drinks are served in single use plastic cups and other people have the food that you originally planned to take but gave up.

Great event, but the no single use plastic policy that included crisp packet, biscuit wrappers is a step too far and isn't inclusive for autistic people with very restrictive diets. Some security staff were aggressive with bag searches as we observed them literally flinging a girls bag contents out of her bag in their search for single use plastic. Salford Pride need to look at this policy it's excessive. Otherwise a really good event

Had all drinks and food confiscated at the gate what I had gotten ready for me and my children and didn't have enough money to replace drinks and food whilst in venue so ended up going home very disappointed and very upset children no thanks to the staff on the gate will not be attending anymore in the future
