Sound quality was awful. I walked out halfway through. Playing Liquid Swords in full and I could hardly tell which song they were playing.

Sadly through no fault of the band the poor sound quality in this venue ruined what should have been a great night of music. The blues kitchen really need to review what happened as the sound quality from the front to the back of the venue was terrible. We left early as we couldn't even hear the vocals and the music wasn't even mixed, it just sounded so muddy that you couldn't distinguish one instrument from another. GZA even called out the venue midway through to sort out the sound issues by saying "what am I supposed to do, stand up here and tell jokes?". Invest in better equipment and a better skilled sound engineer before hosting any more live music.

Venue was far too hot and there were no staff controlling how crammed it was. Had to stand at the back where there was lots of space. Crowd control would have been much appreciated. I have been to a few different gigs and events at blues kitchen Manchester and this happens each time.

Great but the upstairs in Blues Kitchen is pretty cramped, would have been better to have downstairs possibly. Apparently there were some sound issues but I didn't hear anything.

Great band and a great. However didn't appreciate being charged £19.30 for a pint of lager and a drink for my daughter. (not a "c**ktail" !) Absolutely crazy, and i won't be going to this venue again just for that.
