Review of Richard Lomax + Gutshot For Broadway + Carousel Clouds

What a great night! Richard Lomax is a real talent - as a solo performer and, as tonight, with his awesome band The Tontine. We really enjoyed both support bands as well. Gutshot for Broadway are a brilliant new find for me.

Honoured to attend the 1st every Manchester show by Peaness- it's sure to be historic. The band are indie tumble-pop perfection & I look forward to future gigs. Headliners BRUJA rocked harder than the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse & are so bad ass, they didn't even need a 4th (they're a 3 piece you see).
Massive crowd for SBM- Expect big things from all involved.

Very good, reminded me of a mix between muse and two door cinema club! Sixty Minute Man one of the supporting bands were class too really enjoyed them.

Though I came to see Fairchild (who most definitely nailed it) I was very happy to find myself enjoying The other two acts as well. The venue, though right up my street was rather small, it lent itself to the atmosphere of the night! Loved my night out... Can't wait for more!!!

Review of THE TWISTED DOLLS @ THE CASTLE

Twisted Dolls were amazing! Would highly recommend seeing them live again. Music was new and different. Would have been great with a longer set. Can't wait to see them again in Camden Town.
The Castle is a great venue, full of atmosphere, however prices were too high for us and only had 1 drink, went elsewhere before and after the Dolls set, so we only caught the end of the second band.

The Tempest by Theatre by Numbers

Absolutely terrific. Maximised the atmosphere of the play with just the use of movement, the sounds the cast could make with their mouths and a white sheet!

The actor playing Caliban had injured themselves, so they sat at the side and read in whilst the director did the movements in a mask. This did not diminish the performance whatsoever, and just added to how 'other' the character was.

I would definitely go and see this company again, and will be emailing them to ask about casting opportunities!

Cherry Suede were fantastic , friendly talented guys , would definitely go to see them again . Venue smaller than I imagined and have to agree about the people who just talked all the way through - pretty annoying when you're there to listen .

Had an awesome night. really up close and personal both Randys sounded great and met everyone after..really friendly guys they will do well as they are unique to themselves.. love to see them again... only down fall was the ignorant people at the back talking loudly which spoilt it.. if you dont wanna listen dont go but let other people listen and enjoy without having to hear you!!!

we paid for 4tickets at £10 each - there wasnt even anyone checking tickets as we walked in, infact, we didnt even need to buy a ticket, as people were just walking in off the street and watching the band.....so we got ripped off.....
