Review of Pre Xmas Cracker Brunch

Got there 4.30pm. Very disappointed. Handful of people there. Slim came saw not much there and quickly left. Chris came on after taken a while to come because of heavy traffic. Was on 20 minutes. Told lady was coming from Liverpool. Never arrived.
Paid 10 pounds for jolof rice and chicken.
Promoters not happy for what you delivered.
Have to better than that.
I left before 8pm. No one really stayed. disappointed

I want to bring to your attention a disappointing experience my friend and I encountered at your venue recently. Despite being well-dressed, My friend was denied entry due to a jogger policy that was not communicated beforehand. We couldn't attend the party because of this reason

Upon requesting a refund, the manager advised that it could be processed through Skiddle. Unfortunately, the Skiddle website did not allow me to proceed with the refund, resulting in financial loss without availing the service.

I kindly request a prompt resolution to this matter and recommend updating your website with clear dress code information to prevent future incidents.

As a loyal customer, I had initially considered leaving a Trustpilot review. However, I thought it appropriate to inform the venue first in hopes of a satisfactory resolution.

Absolutely dissapointed. Was so looking forward too this event. From the start we were told to leave coats in cloakroom was not given option had to pay a pound each per coat even though we shared a hanger with one ticket. First I must stress the people attending event like me, the host, music and comedians were brilliant. But they got suddenly rushed as apparently there was another event on so had to stop our event pronto. The mgr was putting chairs away as people just went to the toilets. The poor dj got stopped for the other too set up. We were then made too feel unwelcome as if shouldn't be there. Friends were queuing up not allowed entry told to come back at 3am I could go on and all this before 12am. Manchester lounge should be distgustlingly ashamed. 0stars but had to give one to leave review.

(PLEASE Note- I only put 1 star so it would let me leave this review! The event lasted 25 minutes. And Iust stress that the host and comedians did the best with the situation that unfolded.
The owner of the venue was extremely rude and asked customers to leave the venue as he had double booked the venue and the other guests had started to arrive during the show. He was literally taking the seats up form underneath us.
This ruined NYE 2023 as we had to leave just before midnight!
A refund is the bare minimum that should be considered!

Wish I didn't go. Food was terrible (2 dry pieces of jerk chicken with bland rice, sloppy coleslaw and no gravy). I couldn't even eat it and I was so hungry. Rum punch 'ran out'. Venue wasnt even half full. "Comedy show" was actually a joke. The only thing I laughed at was how terrible the set was. The music was actually decent, RnB and dancehall music. My friends were hungry, thirsty and it was just embarrassing , so the vibes weren't even there despite the good music.
I want a refund at this point. You're better off just going to Banyan.

Great event some names advertised not there. Venue should open all areas to prevent overcrowding. All in all good event.
