Review of The Lounge 10th Birthday Party Hosted By 112

Me, my husband and two friends decided that after the dru hill,112 and ginuwine concert on Saturday we would go to the after party at the lounge. So I booked us four VIP tickets with the £5 cover cost.
When we got there after the fabulous concert at the Manchester academy we was all in high hopes.
I stated my name and was each given a wrist band and a half a glass of warm fizz. We then went down the stairs to the tiniest venue ever. We had no instruction to what was next or where to go, as the tickets had no information to what we had payed for nor what it included. And neither did any of the staff!!! We was basically passed from pillar to post from two guys in suits who must have been to do with the event but we're both absolutely clueless. We got a drink at the bar while they found out where and what was suppose to be going on. He finally came back and said the VIP wasn't opening until 2.30am but that was ridiculous as we wanted a seat! So he got us two metal stools to sit on which was then taken away not longer than 5 mins after we had got them by a bouncer! When asked why he had taken them off us he just grunted.
We was then told to go to an area in the corner of the room that had seats and popcorn etc we sat down and thought finally it was worth the extra money. To be then told 10 mins later we had been taken to the wrong area.... again! So then was taken to a both with more sweets on the table.
By this time we'd all had enough of the shambles of place and was astonished just how unorganised and pathetic the whole scam was! And to find out that they had no idea when 112 would be coming to venue was the final straw! (Hence the whole point in going in the first place!) we left. Total waste of time and money and will most definitely not be doing another or recommending an after party to anyone!
The staff should be ALL knowledgeable of what's meant to be happening at all times. It's embarrassing.
Just glad that the Manchester academy was worth it.

Hired a private booth for this night out for a 30th birthday party. Service was excellent felt really well attended to. Amazing night hosted by 112. Birthday girl felt really special...we were buzzing as we had just attended academy Manchester where 112, Dru Hill, Sisqo and GENUWINE were playing. All in all a proper party atmosphere !

Worst club experience in Manchester in over 15 years of regular clubbing. Paid for VIP & Queue jump but security was so lacking that we just walked straight in past the queue no ticket check nothing . Paid for VIP and there was no VIP area!!! The whole floor was covered in about an inch of water! And broken glass on the floor that hadn't been cleaned up. It was such a grotty dirty bar and dance floor. There was loads of people in and only one security guard who was on the door. Bar staff clueless and then the fire alarm went off so all were asked to leave. It's a good job club mamba is just around the car because we had a great night there, there was no way on earth we were going back in. Fraudulently advertised VIP lounge tickets when there isn't one. Avoid avoid avoid.

As someone new to Manchester, little did I know what this venue had in store for the night. Absolute waste of money. Saying that the atmosphere was as dead as a dodo is being kind. You wonder how a venue in such a prime location could be so damn awful, particularly as the clubs across the road and next door were heaving with people. The lack of a queue outside should have been a giveaway. I guess it was nostalgia thinking about D'Angelo that made me think that this Brown Suga event would be a good one. It was much much more awful than being absolutely crap!

I walked in at midnight there was about 30 people in the place not had 1 drink an we all nearly went flying on the wet floor so I told manager to Clean floor with a dry mop, then someone nearly broke there neck falling over a black speaker on a black floor nx to a black stage then it was moved thankfully we rhen went to the bar an I was charged £9.60 for a brandy an lemonade I Q why an he said it was a doubles bar then they put up flyers to say doubles bar!! Disgusting!! My friend was charged £8 for a single vodka an c**e an it cost £6 for 3 glasses of c**e in a tumbler so I asked them to put then in a talk glass an was told we would be charged dbl!!! It wasn't even 12.15!! At 3 ish Horace brown came on stage~ the stage was 8ft long an 12inches high!! Obsurd!! There was no 'support' act the whole set up the management the place an everything about it was a massive disappointment ~ and I would not recommend this venue or future events at this establishment to anyone!! Absolutely disgraceful!!! My night to sum it up was Whack I could of put a better event on in my back garden no ****!!

Awful NYE at Aura

I was so disappointed when I turned up on New Year's Eve to this club, i paid 60 pound for two VIP tickets plus a booking fee for a Las Vegas casino night. On this website it said to expect poker tables, roulette tables, blackjack tables, performers, and much more! There was none off this the club was half empty with no atmosphere, it was shocking! I left to go somewhere else straight away!
I will not be returning to this club, you have false advertised which is completely out of order!

las vagas my back end!! there was nothingg no poker or performances nothing
i paid £30 for vip and found no vip section an also people were being let in for free
staff were not friendly at all an also i was told just to take the card i paid on but then on arrival had to fosh about for my email conformation and also i believed there was going to be a guest list with my name on instead i told the staff member my name and she herself there and then wrote it on a scrappy puece of paper
i was disgusted and will never be goin back

Awful NYE in Aura

Basically nothing that was promoted actually happenned! What Las Vegas night? The place is so small..... wont return, stick to other places on Printworks or Deansgate. Unfriendly staff who really couldnt care, just wanted the money.
