Review of New Wave Wrestling Alliance: Back in the Saddle - family fun day
Mic was not clear and could not understand what was being said. Looked every unorganised on this show. I have put in would recommend as I have been to a number of there shows. Just hope we don't have the same problems again and hope that the changes they are going to put in place will not change the atmosphere of the Wrestling.

nwwa
Good value evening, very professional and a variety of fun characters to boo and cheer and a good standard of entertainment for everyone and a unique setting. Well done all involved, i would recommend them as good value alternative to the very expensive wwe, these guys are trying really hard, hope it stays affordable for a family!. Well worth giving them a go. Music could have been a bit louder and clearer perhaps and maybe more photo opportunities for the kids, plus a programme would have been good to see who the wrestlers were with a bit of info for those of us not familiar. Would give it a solid 8/10!.

Unique venue
Fantastic idea to hold a gig in the victoria baths! And thanks to the venue chaps for risking it. No wonder they didn't have much booze there, can you imagine 150 ravers running riot around the still in progress renovation work, with unwieldy scaffolding rigs blocked off by a few bits of string tying some doors together!
I thought the sound quality was going to be a lot worse given the fact it's a swimming pool (thankfully they fixed the missing left channel before Mark Pilkington started playing!)
It started late eh? I didn't notice as I was having too much fun exploring the various steam rooms and shower cubicles in the other areas of the building, and a random basement area...bit of urban ex to start your gig!
Didn't think much of the support, but Plaid were absolutely mind blowing I thought.
I went away very happy.

The last review was a bit harsh. It was a great venue. Not bothered about the booze & I was pleased it was running late as I was working late so potentially could have missed it.
Yes the visuals could be better as in a better. But the content was OK. It's the Sound part that should have been considered. All that technology'Subjetc music technology' & no one can get a bit of sound control sorted. Too much high, no mid & a fart of a rumble for bass. Not doing much justive for Futureverything.
But non the less I was pleased to see/hear a few artists of this genre in Mcr rather than just reading about a gig I mist in London.
Keep it Up!

poor poor poor
big fat FALIURE on behalf of the organisers (i heard funding was pulled at the last minute). no raindeer theme, wated till 10 pm (2 hours after the previously touted time) and set was only 1 hour. visuals were poor - basically just windows screensavers, irrelevant to the music. oh yes AND the bars were dry 10 minutes after we arrived...
new PLAID music was really good but everythign else was a faliure, except the amazing venue. the drunk yuppies seemed to clap anything (and didnt dance) but there were a few of us at the back jigging...
faliure everything...
