Had a really great time , good venue , a good bands and dj's , rally staff where great , just the prices which is more Dreamland's fault , where extortionate.

Not sure what we are reviewing. Margate was a nice location. Camping was way too far from the action and the venue dreamland was a disaster as a rally venue. The bandstand itself was excellent and bands ok, but price of drinks was outrageous meaning that many rally goers went elsewhere. Furthermore many people were refused entry in the evening because they were carrying things they had bought earlier that day from the same venue because they didn't want to do an hour return walk to the campsite or wait for one of the infrequent 7 seater laid on bus. Dance floor in the roller disco was a complete failure. Thanks to Big7 team for putting the effort in to running this again despite obvious difficulties but really disappointed given cost and travel for a bit of a damp squib. Hopefully better next year back in Ardingly

Had it's good points and bad, I think the venue was to big for the evening do so no atmosphere, could do with a few more buses running during the day and definitely a few more toilets,Margate is a great place to have drink/s😳 so that's a big plus , if the bands/Djs were on the campsite it would have been perfect. That said we still had a great weekend.cheers.

Although not Big7 fault....... campsite to far away (shuttle bus) and the price of beer in dreamland £6.80 a pint when it moves back to its normal (new) venue where you can just walk back in and out of the bands and dance floor and go back to your tent to top up your beer it will be back to its best

Turnout was brilliant so was the ride out, weather was nearly perfect, the venue was a bit far from the campsite and the prices in dreamland were quite high, entertainment was brilliant though

Ridicously expensive & poor quality drinks, no re-entry meant people were effectively stuck in the venue for the evening, poor atmosphere - the first night had 3 large rooms open, with not too many people in them, and then shut 2 of them on the saturday, and even then there wasnt many people in there. It is a shame as last years rally was really good, looking forward to next year when they return to the south of england showground because that was actually a good venue. Dreamland was not worth it.
