Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival - Middlesbrough!
The event was scheduled to start at 12 noon and stalls were still setting up at this time and vendors / security etc arriving.
We had paid for VIP tickets as we have done for previous music events. Sadly this did not meet our expectations at all and didn't reflect the price.
The toilet facilities were located in front of the stage therefore completely blocking the view from the VIP area.
The ladies block consisted of 3 toilets, 2 of which were blocked from 4pm and the event was on until 10pm.
The drinks weren't cold which you would have expected for the prices.
Only 1 member of female staff was serving who was extremely miserable.
The event just wasn't well organised or correctly prepared. Granted the weather was miserable but people are still happy to Rave in the rain.

I wish I hadn't bothered going. They can't control the weather but the venue was not suitable, the music was not 90s, the drinks were pre poured and then we saw them pour them back into bottles at end of night (gross), security were on a power trip. It was rubbish!

Event line up was great. Weather was rubbish but noone can help that. Some seating would of been nice. Couple of picnic tables or similar . There was plenty of space to allow for them. Drinks were expected price at an event like this. Found the food to be a little over priced. Example chicken Gyros with 1 skewer of grilled chicken in was 12 pound . Overall I enjoyed the event at Middlesbrough and would go again.

Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival - Middlesbrough!
The music was brilliant and despite the weather we had a great time dancing.
The toilet situation was terrible ,I once waited over 45 min so dread to think if the place was even busier .
Other venues seemed to be more well equipped with tents and boards down to prevent it getting more muddy ,there was nowhere for any refuge from the rain.
Prices are always more expensive at these types of places so didn't expect any cheaper ,staff were lovely and polite and upbeat .
Defiantly think more toilets and a tent of some sort would of made the experience even better .

Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival - Middlesbrough!
When we got there for the start time 12pm the venue was still setting up and toilets getting delivered. We stood for an hour before we got in to the venue.
My friends and I paid for the VIP tickets and was a waste of money as the VIP area was set up like animal pen. The toilets were put in front of the stage so you had no view of the stage. The toilets were awful as there was only one cubicle in the ladies that were working and then they flooded so were closed for a bit to then open the one cubicle. Ladies ended up having to use the mens toilets in the VIP area. Ended up standing in the massive toilet queue outside the VIP area which again there was not enough toilets for the amount of guests. We ended up using the main bar i stead of the VIP bar as it was quicker to get served and more choice of drinks. The street food was only 3 different vendors. I have paid for VIP tickets in other venues before and was more organised and the area was worth the extra money. In previous VIP areas the bar was well stocked, enough staff to serve, great seating area with tables and overhead cover and toilets were well stocked with toilet rolls and in full working order. The seating in the VIP were some deck chairs dotted about. We are all very dissapointed with the event 😞
