I appreciate the weather is out of their control but we paid double the ticket price for VIP area, which had a 3 toilet cabin for ladies with no running water and due to weather filthy (no one cleaning floor etc) and couldn't see stage from vip area or from most of the outside area. Also they posted they would be showing England match and then didn't advise they couldn't! We also found alot of the bar staff miserable.
Most people left early and most complaining about facilities especially so called VIP facilities, very disappointing!!

We paid for VIP tickets and were unable to see the stage due to the porta-loos. Really poor weather conditions and no preparation to the the ground

Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival - Middlesbrough!
There was an hour delay with the event due to an issue with the portaloos so we weren't actually let in until 1pm instead of 12pm. The music was really good that save the rave provided there wasn't any issues with the music. Prices were on the higher side but it's what's expected at an event so can't complain about prices. Also the weather on the day can't be helped so can't blame save the rave for the weather. Only major issue I had with the event was there was only around 15 portaloos for everyone there so there was about a 15 minute queue for the toilet and if you were to get to a portaloo with no toilet roll there was no staff around the area to inform so more could be placed in there leaving a portaloo out of use. The event didn't seem very organised as nobody knew set list timings for when different djs were coming on the stage and when people were asking staff about how long the delay was at the beginning to get in some were told an hour long at 12:45 so many left to go to the pub and come back only for the doors to then open 10 minutes later meaning they missed the first act. You could say that was their own fault for leaving the queue but when they are told a long wait time and it's raining and cold they're not going to want to wait the hour outside. Security was really good at the event I couldn't fault security did thorough searches before entry and even had sniffer dogs. Overall I think the music and security were really good however management of portaloos was what stopped me and a friend staying the entire time and the 1 hour delay to begin with didn't help.

This venue should have been cancelled, it was a total wash out ,the VIP area was was a disaster ,the toilets where right in front of the stage so we couldn't see it ,only 1 toilet was working which was disgusting, the whole area was like a bog .

Rainy conditions ruined event splodging in 6 inches of mud no mating on floor toilets poor and not enough no atmasphere due to conditions and football best acts on last had enough by then and left to avoid foot rot ?'?🏻

The tribute bands were good, particularly The Beatles, Abba, Fleetwood Mac & Oasis. The acts weren't meant to be starting until 1 pm, but David Bowie was already playing when we got in at 12.30, so we missed some of him. The ground was a quagmire as it had rained the day before & rained until 5pm. Some hay had been scattered about, but maybe some boards could have been put down to make a walkway. The VIP ticket was not worth the extra money. It said beat the queue, but we still had to queue in the rain & then the
VIP facilities were rubbish & positioned badly. No loo paper & only 1 ladies loo so we used the other ones which were a bit better. The only choice of food was noodles or Greek Giros. We wanted a cup of tea to warm ourselves up but the only stall selling hot drinks had run out of them by 3pm. The water stations to fill the empty bottles you're told to bring in, were empty. Sadly for the last 2 acts most of the crowd had gone by the time they were on, due to England playing in the Euros final!

Security checks gaining entry took prevented taking unopened water borrles into the event area contrary published guidelines .
Only water on site was 3 pounds for 300 ml
No other water avsilable
Friends had vip tickets . No view of stage as vip toilets placed there possibky becsuss site waterlogged after seversl days heavy rain .advertised there was limited seating available and chsirs were permitted as carry ins .
There were no seating available any where in the arena .
The artists on stage fully met exoectations . It was the poor customer focus and incorrect venue guide lines that signifucantky detracted tge exoerience on a very wet day when my grand daughrer and ieft early owing to no seats . Cold weather incessant rain and high pices of food and drink when none permitted brought in . £6 for a hot dog . £5 for chips . £8 pint of beer . £3 small bottle water . Profiteering .

The weather wasn't great but thought we would still attend the festival with my family.
We paid £12 for parking to discover there was no designated space to park - there was no signage directing people to the event and limited staff to provide any assistance.
The outdoor space was Extremely wet and muddy and the view to the stage was restricted due to the position of the Portaloo's.
Although the festival was aimed at families, this event did not cater for children. There was nowhere to purchase a hot drink and we were told by security staff this was due to it being an alcohol festival -this was not mentioned on the advert as we may have decided not to purchase tickets.

We paid for the VIP area, the toilets were disgusting only 1 of 3 working in the ladies & no water from the taps . Also they had been positioned right in the view of the stage 😫 ridiculous!!! Who ever thought of positioning them there should be sacked .

The festival should have been cancelled due to the field being water logged and extremely muddy, quite dangerous as very slippy underfoot, atmosphere of the day was very low due to he state of the ground.

The festival should have been cancelled due to the weather. Events in the area were coming up cancelled/ it had rained for three days. A bit of straw had been thrown about. Chairs were soaking. The ground was terrible, sinking in the mud everywhere. The VIP area had the toilets in front of the stage. Only one toilet worked in the VIP area worked.
We left with others complaining- it was the worse experience.

I appreciate the weather was bad anyway but this didn't bother me really as we were dressed appropriately with umbrella and wellies at the ready. We arrived to a field of puddles, bog are limited choice of facilities, with most of the food sources sold out. Wouldn't recommend.
