Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Middlesbrough!
Sadly the weather was so severe we didn't attend the event. It should have been cancelled as the area was not safe sadly. Such a shame for the area, the event organisers and the artists.

Weather can't be helped but maybes it should have been cancelled, ground was unsafe. Vile toilets, vip a rip off. Over priced food and drinks. Acts ok but huge gap between couple acts.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Middlesbrough!
The whole event should have been cancelled. The weather was terrible for the whole weekend, a similar event was held on the same site on Saturday, the day before ours, and therefore conditions underfoot were just awful. The ground was flooded, waterlogged, straw had been put down in places that were under water, absolutely ridiculous. Catering was just not adequate at all, no hot drinks available, and little choice of food too. We had a terrible, and obstructed view of part of the stage in our small VIP area, just a huge disappointment for the whole day really. You should have cancelled and we should get refunds as well.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Middlesbrough!
A shambles from start to finish. No signposting to venue. Did 3 Lapys of driving round outer edge of park. No mention of parking despite having pre booked parking voucher. Eventually found what looked like a small residential car park, nothing to indicate if we were in the right location other than a non identifiable young bloke sitting in a car. Eventually set of to walk to festival site. Without a doubt , the weather was horrendous and ground conditions treacherous . There was no attempt to make the entrance less difficult. We were told that straw was available to try and control the mud, but this never materialised. The site condition was worsened by the fact that it had been used bu another event the day before. Stewards were over zealous and confiscated all food and drink, which in my experience is all part of the party in the park
Toilet facilities were very limited and in absolutely disgusting condition. There were no hand washing facilities and personal sanitising gels had been confiscated. With all picnic food and drink confiscated, food and drink vendors took the opportunity to rob us blind with lager selling at £10 a pint. Despite having purchased tickets we chose to spend our day outside the arena. The points i would raise
1. Yes the weather was foul - nothing you could do about that
2. The confiscation of family picnics and robbing people blind did not make for a good family day out
3. The disgusting state of the arena and it's facilities would never have met public health and health and safety requirements.
This horrendous combination should have been cancelled and tickets refunded

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Middlesbrough!
Absolute waste of money. The weather had been awful leading up to event. A risk assessment should of been done as the field was unsafe due to being so muddy There was people with buggies and mobility scooter who could not move in the mud.
I paid extra for VIP tickets to be in a pen. I could not see tge stage as tge "luxury toliets" were blocking tge view so the only way to see the stage was by going out of tge VIP area. The luxury toilets were disgusting and only 1 per sex with slippery steps leading up to it.
No food or drink allowed - so a "family" event becomes very expensive. I only stayed 2 hours as it was so awful complained to security staff and asked to see tge manager but no one came to speak to me.
I would like a refund as this was an absolute waste of time. It should of been cancelled but greedy event organisers care more for profit than customer service or experience!!!

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Middlesbrough!
Unfortunately the weather was really bad so this made the place extremely soggy, massive puddles everywhere, very slippery and very dangerous to walk around.
The toilets we're disgusting & this was when we first got there, I don't think they were cleaned from the day before because it was not the wet mud that was the problem.
It should have been rescheduled because it was a complete wash out & waste of money & very disappointing.
I also paid extra for VIP tickets & the toilet block was placed in front of the view of the stage which means the extra cost was for for nothing in fact it was a worse view compared to the standard ticket which doesn't even make sense.
You were also not allowed to take food or drink in & this was meant to be a family event, how can a family of say four people pay for tickets then food and drink on top, it was just pure greed the prices for the food & drink were extortionate for barely edible food. I will never attend an event like this again under these organisers.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Middlesbrough!
The weather was atrocious which while they had no control over that, they had made no provisions against the thick, sticky mud everywhere. The VIP area had a direct view to the toilets and couldnt see the stage at all! The standing area in front of the stage was very small and a large black tent was then erected cutting off everyone else view.
There were absolutely no directions to get to the paid for parking area. Even the man on the 'artists parking only' gate directed us, but after driving round 3 times we gave up and parked on the side of the road.
Very badly organised, will not go again, even if its sunny

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Middlesbrough!
Absolute shambles! This event shouldn't have gone ahead. The amount of rain that had fallen over the 2 days used for 2 events here rendered the venue unusable. Only stayed 20 minutes as our feet were constantly submerged in water. The size of the stage was ridiculously small and could barely view the acts. The sound quality was average but very quiet. Glad I didn't purchase VIP tickets and as you will see from most of the other reviews none of the VIP ticket buyers were happy.
Absolutely abysmal, never again.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Middlesbrough!
I read lots of reports from previous venues which were not encouraging, so I thought well they will make it better. But no it was 10x worse here is a list
No food/drink.... I had pork pie x 6 baby size.taken off me
Friend had 4 x apples confiscated. This is just pathetic-I was still buying from stalls just a bit in my bag in case place ran out of food( stated in previous posts)
I felt very uncomfortable with so much security watching everyone. No not good.
On Facebook you promised euro final on big screen-only reason so many still came... in the rain
But no I think that was a scam just to keep folk coming.
You can do little about the rain but very little effort went into making things better.
So glad I didn't pay for VIP
Seriously whoever planned that did disgrace of a service with the toilet blocking stage view and no shelter for the vip's should be SACKED!
I am very very disgusted that I trusted you to provide an amazing experience and it felt like you all enjoyed making the event unbearable.
No way will I do this event again
Which is sad as the music was good

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Middlesbrough!
Very poor communications from the promoter in advance of the event.
VIP area totally inadequate and poorly laid out. No tables, chairs, cover from weather elements.
Ran short of most beverages.
Toilet facilities not adequate. Also toilet block was so placed that the stage are could not be seen.
Totally poor organisation and planning by this event promoter.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Middlesbrough!
Music was great but organisation was shambolic. No clear direction to pre-paid parking or signs to the festival, long VIP queues for toilets (with only 1 out of 3 working) and entrance. Standard queues were much shorter. VIP area was placed where you couldn't see the stage from the deck chairs. I wouldn't attend again.

Review of Outdoor European Final Screening! - Middlesbrough
The Outdoor European Final screening did not take place. We were given the wrong info from Look-A-Like and bought both the festival and football tickets and not informed that the football had would not be showing. Looking into getting money back .......
