Review of Oktoberfest Middlesbrough
Releasing prices week before event 10 per stein majority group could not afford to attend being so close to payday. Others went out into town first before going later to event.
Due to VIP tables couldn't see bands so didn't know what was going on maybe needs screens next time and to hold event on payday.

Review of Oktoberfest Middlesbrough
Absolutely brilliant day, the staff were great and there was never a shortage of them. Prices were a little steep but we knew about that before we go there which wasn't too bad.
The only thing letting it down was the lack of toilets. Queuing for 20 minutes after drinking a few steins soon becomes uncomfortable!

I've been to German Oktoberfest and unfortunately this comes no we're near close ---the segregation was a joke ,it should have just been full of the long tables with a place to dance at the end.

We bought standing tickets and found ourselves miles away from the band. To be honest we couldn't even tell you if there was a band on! Could have done with some speakers at the back. No atmosphere whatsoever. Disappointed and left early.

Review of Oktoberfest Middlesbrough
We paid for standing thinking we would be ok and have the same experience as everyone else, but we couldnt hear the music because there wernt any speakers further than the stage and for such a large venue this is unacceptable. The fact that once you paid £5 for a Plastic Stein and then not have the opportunity to redeem this when leaving is a total rip-off that hsnt happened at other Octoberfests that I have been to. And why wasnt there urinals for the men and only 6 toilets for the poor people in the standing area?? And no toilet paper or water only 2 hours into the event?? I certainly wouldnt go again or recommend anyone else to go. They need to up their game to be in the same league as a real Octoberfest. This was just a poormans version.

Review of Oktoberfest Middlesbrough
Very poor. Lacked an entertainment. Stage to far a way and no engagement with the crowd. The toilets where disgusting. £10 for two pints in a plastic glass. It was a total sterile experience. the band did not engage with the crowd. it may as well have been piped music. If the tent had been square instead of oblong it may have been better but the people standing must have been 8o yards away. It was a far cry from the beer kellers in Middlesbrough, Leeds and Newcastle from many years ago and that was the reason I went. I stopped for two drinks and left. It was a complete waste of money

Paid nearly 400 pound for a VIP table to be told there were none left and we were given a long bench and a few plastic chairs and put right in the middle of the VIP tables where there were lots and lots of drunken people spilling drink all over us so as you can imagine we left
We ended up standing against the side. Most of the people in the VIP area were from the afternoon stint but the security did nothing
Review of Oktoberfest Middlesbrough
I was planning to take my 93 year old mother after I finished work arriving at 2.30 but received an email stating that there would be no admittance after 2 pm. Very disappointed I had to give my ticket to my brother so he could take my mother as she was looking forward to it. When they were there they saw lots of people being admitted well after 2 pm. It was bad enough not being told about the admittance rule before I bought the tickets but to be told I could have gone after all was very annoying, especially as the tickets were quite pricey.
