This is not a reflection on Marti Pellow but on the organisation of this event. It was really bad.
Firstly - the event advertising was really confusing. Some adverts were for Marti Pellow headlining, other adverts, Ibiza Symphony headling. Many people queried this on the socials but answers given, so 2 very different crowds turned up!
Secondly- no information/maps given to show where the entrance to the event was. One of the kids in a hi-viz sent us and many others in the completely wrong direction. Thankfully a couple of policemen caught us and sent us the right way - which was still at least a mile walk. Leazes Park has many entrances but there were no signposts to show the direction of the event entrance. That really needs to be addressed. We got many, many emails selling us the VIP tickets (not worth it) so surely it would have been very easy to send an email with a map showing where the event entrance was.
The event wasnt very busy at all, and it didnt get busy until much later on, yet the bar, who charged extortionate prices for warm cans of cider/lager/soda, ran out of the main cider brand fairly early on. £9.50 for a warm single vodka&c**e!!
Marti Pellow was only on for an hour, which seemed to come as a suprise to him aswell, then the majority of people left, sp hardly anyone left for the Ibiza orchestra.
Just really badly organised

Very well organised event. Drinks overpriced as always. Music fabulous. Annoying that people booking early paid full price and then later 2-1 offered, would not book in advance again.

Although the weather can't be helped at all, it is not the event or organisers issue, I felt it was very slippy on the grass and felt a more open area may have been better. However the event was good, but a shame the orchestra was only on an hour and on later. However a good night but a better venue would have been great.

Marti Pellow was fantastic. However I personally have never been to a worse organised venue. There were no signs at all telling people how to get in. It's no exaggeration to say we were among a group of 60 wandering around the park. We asked security for directions. What can I say. 'If you pay peanuts you get monkeys'...absolutely clueless. People were getting annoyed at the lack of knowledge or common sense of them. Laughable really! Food was good. Drink not so much. Toilets in VIP area, very poor. Certainly not wheelchair friendly. Pellow absolutely amazing. Venue and staff were appalling!!!

The music was good, but the event was poorly organised, the security staff on entry were unhelpful and surly, the signage was non existent and it was very difficult to find the entrance to the event. The VIP package was poor, with two small bars only, one of which had very little stock and closed before the event even really started. The crowd was small and there was not much atmosphere. Mart Pellow was great, as expected, but overall the event was underwhelming and certainly not worth the £80 a ticket VIP entry fee. I would not attend a similar event again.

The venue was good, plenty of space and stage slightly down hill so everyone could see.
Marti was absolutely brilliant! What a fantastic performance.

The organisation was a shambles. No sign posting anywhere, no staff had a clue where anyone was too go to get into the venue. Had to fight to be allowed seating for disabled people - told to sit on a blanket! No food allowed, yes plenty of food vans but not everyone can eat the same stuff. Took forever to get responses from the organisers.

Marti was fab but I won't be going to anything from this company again. Wasn't worth the stress it caused.

3.50 for a bottle of water was really bad when none could be taken into the venue. Not everyone drinks alcohol and the price of soft drinks was scandalous

The music from the artist was good but when marti pellow came on the crowd was in high spirits for him he was so energetic included the crowd more than the other artist he was just fantastic

Brilliant night! My only gripes were The prices for food and drinks just arent justifiable! And they need more toilets.

An amazing day, the only stage we were disappointed with was the bounce stage, we were excited to see a dj but when there we could hardly hear the music as it was a small stage. But we had a brilliant day and will be returning next year.
