Didn't feel like family fun at all and more like a means to rip folk off at every turn. Everything overpriced. The somewhat average fireworks display was completely ruined by the lasers shining in everyone's eyes. Also noticed that the fireworks were very repetitive. Had very little height. Will not be returning. Only good thing was that there seemed to be plenty of parking when we arrived.

Disappointing Fireworks & Food Experience in Chepstow

I recently attended the Chepstow Fireworks & Food event and was left thoroughly disappointed. The fireworks themselves were underwhelming-honestly, I've seen better displays in my own back garden with fireworks from the local supermark*t. They advertised them as "quiet," but that didn't seem quite accurate. You could definitely hear them, yet the loud music drowned out much of the effect, making the display feel disjointed. During the few moments when the music paused, the fireworks were audible, but visually they were still unimpressive.

The food was a complete rip-off. £12 for a small burger and a handful of chips? Ridiculous. Drinks were reasonably priced, but that was the only redeeming feature in terms of refreshments.

The car park was poorly managed as well. On the way out, it was every man and woman for themselves, with little direction until we reached the exit, where a few marshals finally appeared. Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired.

I wouldn't bother going back unless there are some serious improvements.

They were separated me and my husband as he was male even though I WAS THE ONE WHO HAS TICK*TS!!!!

Prices for food and drink inside the venue extortionate, firework display mediocre at best considering the entry price, horrendous queues, limited seating and absolute carnage trying to get out of the car park at the end (parking attendants no where to be seen when they are needed most).

Great venue and we all had a fabulous time. My only issue is the women's toilets did not flush well, if at all. We were only there for a couple of hours so managed.

Fireworks were shocking. Like really bad. Prices for food and drink terrible, especially as you were made to buy drinks in the venue as even bottles of water were taken off you as you went in.

Parking at Chepstow is always bad to get out. They need more exits. This puts me off going. The event itself was good. The vendors were plenty but pricey. Could have done with some more stalls to buy from. The fairground was good for the youngsters. Jack the singer was great and dj. Enjoyed it.

Parking was awful and dangerous! Food prices were out of this world, fireworks were awful and kids rides were overpriced. And the "craft stalls that was advertised were overpriced crap. By the time we were able to park we spent 1 hour were and come straight out

Not a good event. Paid to get in and then had to pay further for fun fair rides. Fire works were very poor. Would not waste money going again.

Display was disappointing. 10 mins of average at best fireworks. Considering the revenue taken for tick*ts, overpriced food drink and kid's entertainment rides a longer more impressive display was expected. Existing the car park as usual is a disorganised, unlit, unsupervised chaos. The only stewards to be seen when you finally get to the exit. Flapping their arms like a constipated ostrich as if it was helpful.
