Review of Northampton Balloon Festival
Visited with family of 7, Easy on line ticketing, no queue at entrance for prepaid ticket visitors, ample on site wc, weather was ideal but a bit more sheltered areas would have been ideal in case of rain or hot sunshine, good amount of security staff seen around the venue and ample refuse bins.

In my opinion no way was it an affordable family day out!
Ruined it for many of my friends and families that we met up with.
Rides over priced.
Food over priced and bad quality (the pulled BBQ pork was full of fat!!) and no flavour.
The parking attendants had no clue as to where the exit was. Especially as they instructed us to drive across a public footpath to then be yelled at by a gobby b***h even though we had stopped to let them cross.
Was disappointed that the time we were there. we didn't see one balloon go up. But totally understand you can't odds the weather.

The rides are all over priced compared to normal fairs. Given that I have already paid for entry I would expect the prices to be same if not less. Event atmosphere is good though.
