Review of Northampton Balloon Festival
Rest of the chaos with the various stalls blaring out different music, took away from the magical moment balloons were launched. My first time attending but there won't be second.
Although ample parking, it was badly managed after the event where qeuing was all around the parking resulting in waiting for over 45mins to 1hr to move 15yards towards the exit!

Overall a well organised event for all the family,Rides too expensive at £5 each especially when you have 2 or more kids some food price ok but others again too expensive example £12 for a burger
The event overall thumbs up and this is my second year going

Ok once we got in but not worth the two and a half hours we spent in the queue for the car park, and then we were made to park miles from the entrance even though it was after 5pm and there was loads of space nearer. We enjoyed the balloons and the stunt show but didn't get to do much else. Food was expensive, we were glad we thought to buy some from Aldi on the way.

Pretty boring, really. All there was was an overpriced funfair, overpriced food outlets and very little else. It's not a shadow of the old balloon festivals and I won't be going again.

will come again next year, stumbled on this by chance and and have recommended it friends and family as a must - really enjoyable and the acts and facilities are amazing such value for money as and i felt it was so good to attend an event that wasnt overpriced so accessible for so many - great stuff

Loved the free demonstrations and enjoyed the atmosphere overall. I was happy to pay entry fees, really enjoyed local sellers in the tents but the prices once inside from food vendors and for the rides etc have put me off coming back again. I used to love the Balloon Festival but we haven't been as our daughter has been a bit too little for it. I brought 3 ice creams for £14. We allowed our daughter on one ride/activity as £5 a go for most things minimum was ridiculous. We have decided though if our current careers go amiss we will definitely buy some bouncy castles as approx 40 children per 10 minute slot for£5 each throughout the day... winning! Sad to say we will not be back again.

Review of Northampton Balloon Festival
We were disappointed when we went in 2023 as it rained and was windy, so returned this year and had a great time. The balloons were brilliant. Loved the craft tents all were very reasonably priced. The entertainment was great too what was nice the stunt bikes did a completely different routines than last year so was great to watch. The only negative we had were the ice cream vans and what they charged for an ice cream £6 and £7 no need for that. I would recommend to anyone, itâs for every budget, great price for tickets and parking and if you take a picnic the cheapest best day out, lots of space for children to let of energy a real family atmosphere thank you
