Review of Beeston Music Festival (Your ultimate family day out!)
We enjoyed our afternoon/evening but wouldn't book VIP again- 2 toilets for the whole area that were virtually out of use by mid evening. Constant queue. Also expected better seats and a bar in the VIP area itself as it was had to queue with everyone else.

Review of Beeston Music Festival (Your ultimate family day out!)
Was miss sold vip tickets, there was nothing vip about it, the queue for the bar was bigger than the normal queue, everybody was using the proper toilets as they wasn't manned. Was sold as you get your own bar, this was not the case, not enough tables and for the first 3 hours you couldn't take your drink from the bar area so there was no tables left in the vip area and ended up sitting outside so we had nothing that everybody else who brought normal tickets would have had. It was a great day but this spoilt it

Review of Beeston Music Festival (Your ultimate family day out!)
It was lovely to have such an event in the local community, however, we as a family felt thoroughly conned out of money. The food costs were extortionate and out of order, there were also very little to no vegetarian/vegan options. We spoke to vendors when we were there and they were shocked at how they weren't allowed to sell their our stock.
Rides had high prices too.
There could have been a lot more entertainment for the children, face painters, tattoos, hair braiders, magicians etc. Once our kids had had our money (3 rides each, a slush and an ice cream) they were bored. There was nothing entertaining for them other than the acts, which they had mixed feelings towards.
We had mixed feelings about the event going into it as after we had brought our tickets, we were then told we couldn't bring picnics. Some families would have struggled to pay for the tickets but wanted to treat their families, then to be told they couldn't take food with them.
If you were to hold this event again, look at the structure they have at the festivals at clumber park, great balance of family friendly entertainment, food vendors and picnics allowed, use of the whole space and options for everyone.
