Review of Detonate Festival 2019
This was my 2nd visit to Detonate, I went back when it was held at the Racecourse. Ques was good, didn't take long at all, I didn't think the prices were to bad at all. Even though we had lots of rain i thought the ground was decent, and loved the set up. Couple of things I thought could be better, the VIP area was poor, and twice I walked in with no one on the barrier so it was rammed at the bar and toilets. I thought there could have been other VIP loos scattered about. I thought the let down was the volume of music, you could have a full conversation in the Bigtop which was playing DnB, It missed that "umph" on alot of stages. Heard a few people say it was down to restrictions, but at an event like that i think it needed to be louder. All in all an amazing day, staff awesome, well organised and planned!
