Review of Detonate Festival 2018
Had a fantastic time. Great venue, amazing Dj’s, banging tunes. Just need more water taps, more toilets and toilets cleaned more. Apart from that fantastic day out. Well organised and love the drinks wristband, so much better than tokens like at other events.

Review of Detonate Festival 2018
Prices have risen even higher since last year. Selling a bottle of wine which costs around £5 for £20 is just ridiculous. Also, taking lids for water bottles and wine bottles is stupid as well. The bottles are plastic and reuseable which is WHY people buy them - for the closing function VIA A LID.
The number of food trucks etc was not sufficient. There were thousands of people at this venue, and around 4/5 food options. With the size that these food trucks were, it was obvious they wouldn’t cope for the duration of the festival.
More water points are also needed - an improvement from last year but 2 water points to 1 bar would make more sense.
I always love detonate and I atrend annually, but now it’s becoming such a popular festival there are things that are lacking/need improving

the speaker system for the main outdoor arena was poor. they only had speakers and the front so was quiet for people not at the front
the DnB tent had a good sound setup and the atmosphere in that tent was very good
