Cancelled event - expect compensation for a disappointing trip from Leeds all the way to Nottingham for Detonate to cancel the event due to overcrowding, essentially the event over selling tickets

Would have been a really good night however got ruined by the event being shut down 3/4hours early. Really badly organised as you couldn't cope with the amount of people that were there

Blatantly oversold tickets
Minimum of an hour queue to get into a tent
No control over the crowd in the queues, people were fighting in the queue and there was no security to be seen to help
Extremely poor organisation of the entire event
Was shut down 3 hours early due to health and safety reasons: the tents were overcapacity

A terrible experience to be honest.
1) The venue itself was obviously too small for the amount of tickets sold as they had to close it down 3 HOURS EARLY due to overcrowding.
2) The tents were far too small and surrounded by barriers so you couldn't even get any fresh air in. After 45 minutes of being in the main tent I had to leave due to feeling overwhelmingly hot. Never experienced this at a festival before.
3) QUEUES to get into the tents. Whoever planned this needs to make an official apology and probably look for a new job. People had spent between 30-60 pounds on a ticket to come and see their favourite acts and because of the queueing system we had to leave one act early in anticipation to queue for an hour for another act. I SPENT MORE TIME QUEUEING THAN ENJOYING MYSELF.

If we receive no refund you can be sure we will boycott this event in the future.

Too overcrowded venue, I'm not paying for an event that I have to queue up for everything, sell less tickets! It's not our fault that there's an overcapacity. Sort it out , ridiculous.

I am a huge fan of detonate events, but the organisation was a sad effort, it's just so disappointing that the event got shutdown due to overcrowding ?! People need to stop being greedy and try make money out of people's discomfort! You guys better refund us at least a part of our ticket price ! Also the line up wasn't great ?! Since when detonate is all about grime ?! Where's the DnB?!

Over sold, over crowded, fire hazard being in 2 hour queues of 100 people, over priced, cancelled 3 hours early did not get to see any of the acts I came to see!

The festival was very poorly organised and clearly tickets had been over sold. It is ridiculous that the main acts where in such small tents that could not hold the amount of people there. When you pay £40 for a ticket to an event you expect to see the acts on the line up which was not the case here as we queued for an hour and a half to get into the bone yard only to miss the whole of shy fx's set. I will be very shocked and disappointed if we don't get our tickets refunded or at least some of the price reimbursed.

Embarrassing!! What an absolute joke!! Everyone was Queuing to get some where. Never saw Andy C... What a Waste of money!! I Can't say I enjoyed one thing about yeatyrday. Why F when you've paid nearly 60quid for a ticket to see these artist you then have to queue for 30min to get in a boiling sweaty sauna Tent! There wasn't enough tents for the amount of people you let in. You Sold far to many tickets for this small venue. The VIP ticket was waste of money, it was F'ing diabolical!! There was Only 3 ladies toilets in the vip area. The whole place was Over crowded and felt so unsafe. We was all being crushed and we couldn't see in the tent as it was so dark. I can see why the Police locked it off now!! Police saw how dangerous it was and disorganise you was Detonate. We was all looking forward to this event so much for months and months, You at Detonate hyped it up so much and then you over charged everybody for this disappointing event. Iv had to spent so much money just to have a good time. I want my money back!

Good until it finished 3 HOURS EARLY. Hoping there will be some kind of refund considering we were unable to see most of the big acts that we paid to see (when you have paid £45, and don't get what you paid for, it's highly unacceptable). Apparently it was due to health and safety concerns so clearly detonate had made an error in their planning, therefore it's their fault so should refund. The only reason I would recommend detonate to friends in the future is because of past performances, but i imagine last nights events will be very bad for business, I will be expecting a partial refund and an explanation as to why this occurred.

Paid 60 odd pound for ticket to specifically see certain artists but could see any that i actually went to see and also the management of the event was just so poor not being able to even get in a tent it was such a dissapointing event compared to the last one

Terribly organised, overpacked, overpriced, a danger to health & safety. Not having a bar or even anywhere to get a glass of water inside a tent of thousands of crammed in, overheated people under the influence is surely unreasonable. And waiting to get into a tent in an hour long queue is ridiculous, leaving no easy way to get food/drink/fresh air/a toilet break. I paid £45 to be extremely hot, crushed in crowds and queue for hours, only for the event to be shut hours early. Paying this much money for this as a student is unfair and I would really appreciate a refund.
