Amazing gig. Good support and great atmosphere, friendly venue and great promoter (Dark Matter Promotions). Duke and his band were fabulous: gravelly, reverb heavy blues, amazing musicianship. A legend!

Been a Wolf People fan for ages and this really is the next best thing, great sound, wonderful songs and we even got a WP song thrown in too. My first time at the venue so wasn’t used to the lay of the land, but it looks like a great place with loads of fantastic music so will have to make much more use of it.

The Golden Lion is always a yes, an iconic venue that draws some big names and rightly so it’s very cool.
Large Plants are astounding, they have such a rich velvet sound, some deliciously dirty distortion and coupled with Jacks folk roots vocals…just brilliant.
