Review of Boogie Bingo Live!: Grease vs Dirty dancing - Plymouth 16/9/23

The event itself was very good, the only downside was the organisation from the venue itself.
Huge queues at the bar all night, sometimes around 75 people waiting to be served. No chips available and other food took over an hour to come out.
Not enough staff for such a big night.

The event is fun. Getting through the front door was chaos. Over an hour as didn’t know we had to be members. Last time walked straight in.
Everyone has to do a registration form and some missed the start of the bingo. Not enough bar staff for the second time😧

Definitely not as good as the pervious events. They only played 3 spice girl songs. Unlike the abba night befoee when it was more themed, more atmosphere and Definitely more fun. It was ashame this night didn't live up to it

Waited outside for 25 minutes before anyone could go in. Hardly any Spice Girls music, and the prizes were poor.

The event itself was good but the queuing and timing at the venue was awful, very unorganised and waited nearly 2 hours before the bingo itself even started. People queue jumping.

We booked as a group for what was advertised as "Spice Girls Bingo". No spice girls songs were played until the end of the night, which is disappointing as we were already 3 hours into the night, when they finally played spice girls songs they only played one classic. We left feeling really disappointed and won't be booking again.

Most disappointing thing was only 3 spice girls songs for a spice girls event. When playing the bingo no link to spice girls! Also no tribute act that was originally planned when tickets bought.

False advertisement, everyone was all dressed as the spice girls to only have one song played.
It felt like the presenters were chaotic and crude the majority of the time. It borderline felt creepy and uncomfortable.

We paid for Spice Girls Bingo and heard maybe 5 spice girls songs. I appreciate that the tribute band cancelled but it was like the organisers then just put no effort into the night at all. It’s a real shame because the Abba bingo was brilliant.

Venue is absolutely awful. They cannot organise an orderly queuing system. Music was good. But only 2 spice girls songs were played in the whole evening…..
Prizes are s**t. I know it’s the fun and atmosphere but someone won a wheelie bin. Really..

This was an amazing night, but unsure why it was called spice girls event, we heard 2 spice girls songs - it was sad for those who dressed up and it wasn’t spice girls genre.

Barely any spice girls songs played, how can you advertise an event where people are all excited and dressed up with spice girls merchandise on then not play any spice girls songs till the end. By that point loads of people left so they must of felt just as disappointed as we did.
