Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
Good venue, friendly staff. Thumbs up for the clean toilets, urinals were an excellent idea and helped to reduce mess in the cubicles. We were impressed to see that the toilets were regularly checked!! Hats off to those guys!
Acts were good fun and mostly good tributes. Disappointed that we weren't allowed to bring our own water in.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
Easy to park, accessible entrance and friendly security on the gate. Upgraded for free to VIP at the gate due to a wheelchair user in the party which was fantastic. Every area kept tidy and clean by lovely staff. Minimal queues for drinks, however limited choice due to the previous days sales. Plenty of savoury and sweet food options. Standard higher festival prices but delicious and freshly cooked. A couple of fairground rides which added to the atmosphere. Every act was brilliant! Such good fun and varied music entertainment. The sound quality was really good. Plenty of space around the stage for those who wished to dance without causing issues for those sitting. VIP area was great, picnics benches, proper toilet block and less crowded.
We had a lovely day and would definitely book to go again.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
The date for our Southampton Outdoor Tribute Fest was changed and we were unable to go. NO REFUND HAS BEEN RECEIVED DESPITE BEING PROMISED. WHY NOT? THINK THIS IS A SCAM!

Some bands were amazing others not so.
Maybe need to look at audience ages although I thought the Oasis tribute was really good my friends and people around me didn't enjoy the music.
I don't think it was a reflection on group just type of music

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
very little pre event info available. said doors opened at 12. but without a running order available meant I turned into venue at 12.20 and first act already on. thought at least 1 hour before doors and first act. so missed that as still parking up.
also the acts were a little poor. and glad I paid the early bird price. was expecting a david Bowie tribute but not there. disappointed. again a running order a couple of days before would help.
parking info. at the time of early bird tickets also.
however a small event mid Cornwall good. easy travel get into out of at end of evening.
porta loos clean.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
1) I purchased VIP tickets but I believe the VIP area should have been across the front of the stage and not to one side as the view was quite limited unless you were at the front. So the people that hadn't paid for VIP and were in the front of their area we getting a better vibe and experience than we did.
2) A good point was that we had our own toilets and bar however we had to go to the main area for drinking water. So, access to drinking water in the VIP area would have been better.
3) We left coats and sweatshirts in the car and were hoping we would be able to retrieve them later when it cooled down but we were told that we couldn't as there was no re-entry allowed. WHY??? Especially as the security team were still on duty and we had VIP wristbands on.
4) I think a DJ would have been a great idea to keep the crowd going as there was a long wait between each band which meant that the atmosphere went a bit flat each time so the next band had to get the crowd going again and it just became boring.
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the whole experience and left early because we got bored...

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
I do a lot of festivals. This is one I will not be returning to. If you insist on no drink to be taken into the arena (which is fair enough) then you should be providing a decent well stocked bar. There were no kegs, just cans which is appalling at £6 a can, and the choice when we first got there of just Coors or a premium can of yuk. Everything else on the price board was blanked out. No cider at all. It seemed that throughout the day people were popping to Tesco to top up as cans were changed. Inches cider appeared for a while, then thatchers, then no cider at all again. There was no bitter or ale. £3 for half a c**e which was poured from the dregs of 3 bottles. This is something which SHOULD have been in a can. Tickets were sold as an '80s Tribute Festival ' with promises of Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, The Smiths. No shows! Whitney was good and the only band I would really class as 80s. Elton was good as were Oasis, but surely this is classified as a 90s band 🤦. Even the music links between the bands wasn't 80s and repeated music that we had just listened to. After an hour of Abba more Abba is really not necessary, particularly when there are 1000s of record choices from the 80s that could've been played. The musicians in Queen were good but Freddie's vocals not so much and we really didn't need to listen to the machine that was starting to dismantle a fairground ride near us before they had finished. That is just totally disrespectful to your artists.
