Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
First time of going to an event like this! Had a fab time, great atmosphere, friendly staff, clean loos (we were VIP). Drawbacks: drinks were expensive and they soon ran out of cider! Also the sound seemed to go funny for the last act of the night which was a shame. That being said we left super happy with achy feet from dancing so much! Also bring camping chairs!

Only criticism is not very well organised at the beginning. They weren't ready for people arriving early. No marshals, sign posts or people that knew what was going on. Other than that, great!!

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
After looking at previous reviews I was very worried at how it was going to be as they were awful. Also the very poor communication didn't help, so many questions asked by so many people and not one answered until two days before the event. Come on lookalike people!
£8 for a pint od larger, although there were only two pumps at the whole event.
The rest was 500mm cans for £5, £7 for a single spirit so rather pricey really but plenty of stations to get served and enough food trucks, no real queues so that was good, again a little pricey but that's the norm nowadays.
The VIP area was good and the exclusive use of proper toilets was definitely worth the extra money. The let down was the dividing fence that made you feel like you were in a cage that really put me off going there unless I was using the loos.
The band's were great but again knowing the line up beforehand would be good too.
Overall though it was a great day out group really enjoyed it.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
The stage lighting was appalling. It was set up for a DJ act with the lights shining out towards the crowd and very poor lighting on the stage itself. As a result it was near impossible to actually see the acts once it got dark. The quality of the acts was hit and miss with a couple of really good ones and some really dire ones. Re-entry was not allowed. This is a big no no and can only be to stop people buying food in local shops as the quality of the food on offer inside the venue was really poor (apart from the pizzas and the lovely ice cream van which was also reasonably priced). On the plus side the atmosphere was good, no trouble seen and lots of families with youngsters.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
Drinks very expensive - stage lighting blocked view - layout could have been much better. Wouldn't allow my sister to take some perfume in - couldn't explain why just said they will bin in - we took back to car instead. Food stalls quite expensive and some food cold - whilst I understand the vendors probably pay a lot to be there - they can still make prices more reasonable

Could do with more information about rules and regs about parking, food, drink, revisiting car etc in advance. Website needs more information but I did enjoy my experience

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
Staff were not bothered about serving well or doing a good job. The venue itself was lovely.
VIP was a complete waste of money as you pay more to sit behind a fence next to the toilets.
Acts were ok but not as professional as I'd expected.
Food & drinks were way overpriced.

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
Despite some of the previous reviews from other venues, this was a great day out. Good value for money, although the food outlets were pricey but that is only to be expected at an event like this. I would have liked to have seen a better coffee/hot drink provider with decent coffee etc for those of us that were not driving and some non alcoholic adult drinks also. Disappointingly we paid for premier parking but we were not given this option, even when we mentioned it to stewards three times. However that didn't upset the day. Would just ask that staff at the site are aware. Also one of our party had their hand sanitizer taken away (?) saying it was flammable - as was all those that were smoking (including security staff), so all a bit strange! HOWEVER it was a great day and would definitely recommend it!

Review of Outdoor Tribute Festival comes to Cornwall!
The music as a whole was great. The food was lovely. The alcohol grossly overpriced for cans of basic beers and very limited. Glad I didn't pay for VIP as that was worse than standard
