Review of neu waves #79 Holiday Ghosts / Park View Estate / Making Eyes
Neu waves continue to promote interesting and often innovative bands. Holiday Ghosts was another in that vein. Low key harmonies surrounding intricate guitars backed with strong drums and fluid bass lines.

Review of neu waves #78 MADMADMAD / Le Junk / Jake Godwin
Two wonderful if musically different bands yet both driven by heavy bass lines. Le Junk tuneful and melodic. Madmadmad carefully crafted dance beats. Another magical night courtesy of Neu Waves.

Review of neu waves #74 School Disco / Dubbal / The Crimson Flames
The loft is a good size but needs updating and a bit of tlc....
The lighting is the worst aspect , very glaring again needs someone dedicated.
Also the tall fridge behind the bar has very very bright lights inside the cabinet, if you're facing these lights you cannot see for the glare !

Review of neu waves #70 Alien Chicks / The Ringards / The Strongest Tool
The Strongest Tool are an interesting band. Obviously new without much stagecraft but musically promising. Slightly disappointed with The Ringards in that they lost the vocal quality from the studio. Still I found myself singing one of their songs this morning. The Alien Chicks were as good as ever. An effervescent live band full of drive and bounce. Gifted musicians to boot.
