Kierst were fantastic.

Shtepi were a revelation. Energetic with unexpected rhythms and time delays. A Void were they're usual manic selves. Driving bass and drums overladen with florid guitar reminiscent of Spirit. A beguiling sound backed with tuneful harmonies sung by a wonderful drummer.

We went to see Van Gosh cus they are just brilliant.. gifted musicians, great lyrics and pure fun! But.. what a bonus to hear Safety Jacket and Queens Head! Outstanding!!

Possibly the best way to spend a Thursday night in Portsmouth. New and interesting acts, frequently two very good bands, sometimes all three! Always a friendly, inclusive and appreciative crowd. If you like live music this is a must. A great evening is almost always guaranteed, and never a bad one.
Highly recommended.
