Went to see John, as have seen them before. They were even better this time, a sweaty powerhouse of noise. Great to see the other bands too, especially Web, who I will now be looking to see more of.

Honeyglaze sound like a fine indie/lounge music band with a manic drummer and a mesmerising lead singer. Particularly liked the downbeat observations of the bass player.

3 bands for less than 10 quid! (Often 4). The headliners, Honeyglaze are definitely worth checking out. I’ve been to thousands of gigs, but these Neu Wave gigs are something special. A chance to checkout new bands in a small venue. If you like music, you’d love this.

Four fine bands offering a variety of different styles and genres each as good as the other with one stand out in Mandrake Handshake. Their blend of jazz, dream pop was mesmerising. Another great find for Neu Waves.

Great gig - I’ve rarely seen a poor one at the Loft. Mandrake Handshake were awesome, shame they couldn’t play longer. My Thursdays are now the highlight of my week.
