Review of Lot 13 A New Ghost Story For Christmas 2023
It was highly enjoyable,it was different and unexpected. The tour of the hall during the auction was great. The play was well acted and highly atmostpheric, not surprising considering the venuewhich suited the plays subject matter. The ending was definitely a surprise

Review of Lot 13 A New Ghost Story For Christmas 2023
Brilliant evening. Great show, great cast, amazing setting! Only problem was the "exit" to the car park (which you normally use in the day) was padlocked, so a queue of cars had to do 3-point-turns in a dark, narrow lane and dozy-doe past each other to leave by the "entrance".

Review of Lot 13 A New Ghost Story For Christmas 2023
The plot was poor - the acting was not of a high standard - mismatch of period costumes - often the background music drowned out what the actors were saying -the end was abrupt - audience pushed outside without ALL the actors giving a bow or allow the audience to give appreciation - the performance was rushed

Review of Lot 13 A New Ghost Story For Christmas 2023
Absolutely brilliant, a short play that felt fully immersive. The director has been very skilful in the way they used the house to take you on a journey.
We loved the combination of the 100 years ago plot which was interlaced with current times. Great acting too.

Review of Lot 13 A New Ghost Story For Christmas 2023
In all fairness, the actors did really well And was very professional no discredit to them. I just thought on arrival a mince pie, and some bubbly would've gone along way to make it feel more Christmassy. Also, a little more ghostly goings on wouldn't have gone miss maybe walking into a room that was very cold, and with a little Artificial smoke Would have made it feel more spooky . Very sorry, but was very disappointed in the whole set up everybody that walked out was saying the same thing in the car park

Review of Christmas Dinner with Live 1940s Jazz Music
Very relaxing and enjoyable evening. Food and service were excellent. Staff were very helpful - particularly when we took the wrong road and missed the entrance! The music accompanied the meal rather than overwhelming it, allowing my wife and I to carry on a normal conversation.
